    Lees Tailoring & Menswear
I have used Lee's Tailoring and Alterations twice now. The first time was a last minute request to hem a long black dress that was needed by noon on the following day. I arrived after 3:00 to make the request and they were able to accommodate me. They did a great job pinning the dress and the dress was ready when I went to pick it up on the following day at noon. The hem was exactly as requested. Since it was a band dress that would be used by other girls in the future, I had requested that they not cut off any excess material in putting in the hem and this request was honored as well. After this positive experience, I was happy to take a pair of unhemmed pants to them to request them to adjust the length as needed. I put on the pants with the appropriate shoes and they quickly pinned the pants so that I could be on my way. This time, the pants were ready in three days and I was very happy with the work and the price. This is now my go to place for alterations! They have recently moved from 3310 Bob Wallace to 2810 Bob Wallace (the old Robbins Music Store).

    A CUT ABOVE TAILORING
I was very worried b/c I have a Hindu wedding dress and wasn't sure if he could alter it! BUT GUESS WHAT, he did it absolutely perfect and did not have to make any adjustments. Hindu wedding dresses are very complicated and have delicate jewels. He did such a great job that nothing was ruined on my dress. My skirt and blouse were loose to due last minute weight loss, and I made a call last minute and Derrick was there by my side working on my dress the day before and made me very happy with the results:) He is a very dedicated and involved tailor that will not only get to know what you want, but he will take the time to get to know his clients.  My dress pants were a little long, so he shortened them to the perfect length and they are in perfect condition. Once again, I will be using Derrick again in the future for all my alterations!

    Soon Tailor & Alterations
The last time I went, I needed a hem let out of my silk curtains. I was very worried about potential damage to them in doing this. However, the job was so wonderful, you cannot even tell the hem was altered AT ALL! This is a great place to have anything you need altered done. I trust them very much. They will let you know if it can't be done, but I haven't had them say no to any project yet. Best choice for alterations.

We have done clothing alterations and the company name is Lee's Tailors. The tuxedo was a rental so he picked it up on Friday as it was my son's prom. The service with that was very good. That is a great built store there. They do good work and the prices aren't too out of line. The staff, I think they are all Asian and they work really hard. I mostly deal with Mr. Lee and he has been a tailor for years and it is like having your own personal tailor. He is great. They are pretty knowledgeable. They do good work. On alterations, they do a very good job and they charge reasonable prices. The last pair of pants I had them do were like 8 dollars and that's not bad at all. I think it was done within a week and so quick turn around and that is kind of just the standard turn around. They were pretty good there with the professionalism.

    Soon Tailor & Alterations
I had a pair of tear-away basketball pants (they snap all the way up the side of both legs so they can be removed quickly and easily without having to remove your shoes) that were too long and needed to be shortened. I was worried that it couldn't be done as there were snaps on the bottom at the hem line. I took them to Soon Alterations and they took one look at them and said no problem! They had me put them on and marked them and then told me they would be ready in 3 days. Three days later I returned and there they were, looking just the same, but shorter! Great Job!

    Soon Tailor & Alterations
I have had two items repaired by Soon. A suit coat which I wear at weddings and funerals had the center back seam out. The lining had to be opened and the seam stitched. Total cost. $5.00. A pair of pants with the hem out. I kept catching my tow in it when I tried to put them on. Soon stitched it while I waited. Total cost $2.00

    Chapman's Upholstery
I like Miss Chapman because I can buy my own material. She'll price it either way for me. I can buy my own material and it's not as expensive. I've been real happy with everything she's done for me. I can't do upholstery and she does a beautiful job.

Stich In A Minute By Lynn A
The process went very smoothly. I called to check her hours and to get an estimate on the amount of time it was likely to take. Then I took my son and his pants in to her shop so she could pin them. She gave me a reasonable quote on the cost for the alterations and the time. She finished early and charged what she quoted. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about altering uniforms.

    Fongs Alterations
I have used Fongs for alterations in the past. They "updated" my wardrobe with changing pants into capris or shorts and I have used them for pant hems. This visit, Fongs altered a formal dress. Even though I've had good experiences with them, I was still concerned about the timing if it wasn't altered "right" I wouldn't have time to redo it before my event. However, not only were there no problems, because it was pinned properly when I dropped it off, but she even suggested a better way to do the bust so that dress looked (and fit) more natural and promised it back to me in plenty of time! They did a great job! The price was $15 for each alteration to the dress, one for the altered bust and one for resewing the straps to fit me.

    Clothes That Fit
Peggy is the best seamstress I've met in years and her experience shows in the quality of her work. I highly recommend her for all alterations.
