    Susan Bourg
Dr. Bourg and the office is 100-percent wonderful. I would recommend her to anybody; she saved my life. I have absolutely no negative thing to say about that office. My favorite part about the practice is the doctor. She is just very educated, however she talks to me on a level that makes me feel comfortable. She seems to truly care and on the other hand she is professional, but at the same time she is not going to soft pedal it. She is going to hold me accountable for how things should be in my life. I just love her and think if someone had someone like that to talk to the world would be a lot better off. I was new to the area and when I first went there I told them my problems and the office staff put me together with the doctor, she was not recommended to me.

    Columbus Psychological Associates
Each time I go to Columbus Psych, everyone is extremely caring and friendly.  Dr. Tarver is phenomenal and provides counseling sessions that make me feel as though I can effectively deal with the traumatic issues going on in my life.  I leave feeling hopeful and look forward to talking with her each week.  She is down to Earth, humorous, and REAL.  I definitely relate to that type of counseling.

    Patel, Dr. Arvind R.
They are not very efficient with the appointment time. That is because they are a large practice. You have to wait for 15 minutes, but if you need more of his time, he will do it for you. I don't mind that I have to wait long to see him. I had seen other Psychiatrist before. They just wait for the 15 minute time and say that your time is up.

I found Dr. K on Angie's List and I love him! He is really nice and caring. He got to know my feelinng and was very open to my questions as well. I see Dr. K once a month and I am now on a daily medication for my anxiety and sleeplessness, and I feel so much better!!

    Felker, Dr. Stephen A.
I went to Dr. Felker for a little over two years. I like that he is calm, has a great demeanor and is very helpful. Overall, I think his demeanor is wonderful and helped me understand the other side of the marriage.

He listens, asks questions, and spends some time staring in front of him while he considers the best diagnostic treatment. I have seen other Psychiatrists that made me come twice a month and his three month increment is the best. You can be expected to wait an hour or more in his office. I have found this true of other Psychiatrists as well. His office staff does not want to be bothered unless they come to you first. A drug test for an adult is now required with an additional $20.00 fee with each visit. Diagnostically, he is the only doctor who has found a working methodology for me and the every three month appointments for my ADHD daughter work out nicely so I don't always have to drag her out of school. When you do go; expect a wait and expect to get frustrated with difficulty understanding his accent. If you can get past these factors, he is a very good diagnostician for mental health and I have seen others.

    Arthur Holt MD
If you're reading this, you're no doubt looking for a psychiatrist, or perhaps for a better psychiatrist.  Dr. Holt was recommended to my spouse more than a few years ago and I'm truly thankful he was...prior to that my spouse had been seen over the years by multiple other providers, both local and elsewhere.  I feel that Dr. Holt was the first who actually properly diagnosed him.  He spent TIME getting the full picture; he spends time beyond the initial evaluation as well - it's not just a "how ya doin'""okay fine here's your prescription" conveyor belt.  There have been a couple times where we've waited a little longer than normal in the waiting room, but a) it's very infrequent, and b) you know it's because he's giving someone else the same quality of attention as you yourself want and deserve. Dr. Holt is not a run of the mill fellow.  He might be seen as a little quirky?  Definitely VERY intelligent, and moreover, he seems to have a very keen intuitive sense of what's going on with a patient (based on my sample size of my one patient, granted).  He speaks bluntly but from a place of caring; he responds with toughness or kindness as the situation demands.  He gives a sh*t, in other words, and sometimes that can feel lacking with other providers in our experiences.  However, IF he rubs you the wrong way in your first encounter, I'd encourage  you to try again; he marches to perhaps a slightly different drummer but it's a beat I believe you'll come to appreciate pretty quickly. He is very responsive to his patient's wishes:  he works with you, for you vs. working on you/your case.  As the person who gets to live with the patient 24/7, I'm appreciative that he welcomes me into the appointment (w/spouse's consent, of course).  In the past, there was at least one provider who looked at me like, "what are YOU doing here?"...so yes, I appreciate it greatly. I think psychiatry is as much an art as a science; it can be hard enough for a patient to identify what's going on relative to their own behavioral health and then put it into words, let alone have that be accurately heard and digested by a provider.  I'm happy to say that I highly recommend Dr. Holt and sure hope he's around for a long time. Couple brass tacks I'll also mention:  one is the address shown here on Angie's List is wrong; he's in that tall office building on 12th Street & has been for years (since we've known of him). Second, last I knew he did not accept insurance, so it's a cash business (don't worry, he's legit!).  My spouse pays then we file a claim through our insurance.

When I arrived at the office the office staff was very respectful. They were very knowledge about certain issues such as billing. It only took ten minutes waiting time for me to see the doctor. When I met with Dr. Kannegenti he was very respectful and his bedside manners were great. Upon leaving the office I was given my next appointment date. Overall the visit went very good.

You always have to wait an hour to get in. He is very caring and concerns. When my husband had to go to war I got depressed and he was the one that I wanted to see. They are all friendly. The office is clean. Everything is an A except the waiting time. If I called him right now and told him something is wrong he would have me come in.
