AMBG Painting LLCMiguel was always prompt in calling, meeting, and showing up when he said he would to paint. He is very professional and polite. He did an amazing job and will only use him going forward to paint. He painted the inside of my condo which is roughly 1450 square feet. He did the ceiling, wallls, and trim including base boards. Very clean did not leave any mess. Will definitely refer family and friends to him when they need to paint.- Forrest M.

AGreat! He has a full schedule with all the projects he has going on. Took a bit longer to come to the house to do the job, but would respond if called or texted him. When the crew came out, they were very friendly and got along great. They were very quick and efficient. Had to get license # for insurance and didnt hesitate to give it unlike other contractors.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

DInitially called to set up an appointment for an estimate, didn't show on the first appointment. When we called to find out why it was rescheduled for 25 May 2017. The appointment on 25 May was kept and when He showed up he was very nice and attentive to what we were planning on doing in this remodel. He walked the entire house, took measurements and wrote his notes. He provided me his card and then said it was a good bit of work but he would work up the estimate and have the numbers back to me within a week. After a week, I had not heard or received anything from him. After two weeks I called and the office clerk took my name to research the issue. At first they said they couldn't find where he had ever been at our house, then they found the appointment but said he had been busy and was still working the estimate. After another 3 weeks I called, they still had trouble finding my file and he still had not completed the estimate. I waited until the end of July, called back and still had not completed the estimate and the owner never got on the phone to explain or offer an apology. After this experience I mentioned the company name around a few friends that had home improvements done and it was a consensus that A&J Home Improvements was not a company to do business with.

AExcellent. I had too much roof draining into one small 4 inch gutter and downspout. In heavy rain the water would back up and leak inside the wall down into the living room. Initially I hired another contractor who came out one day to install a 6" gutter system. His material was the wrong shade of brown, which wouldn't have made any difference, this section is not in view of the other sections, but he insisted he would have to order the right color and would be back the next Monday. I never saw or heard from again, and he wouldn't answer or return phone calls. So I called ICS. They came out, reviewed the situation very thoroughly and offered two possible solutions: 1. The flashing wasn't properly installed, allowing the puddled water to seep under and into the wall. This would have been expensive to repair and still wouldn't keep the water from puddling in a heavy rain. 2. Install a gutter and downspout sized to handle the water flow during heavy rains. If the water didn't puddle it wouldn't seep under the flashing into the wall then drip on the wood floors in the living room. I opted this solution. They came out about 3 days later and installed a 6" gutter system which will handle 50% more water flow. The color didn't match the 11 year old existing system but there's no way to notice it, you can't see any of the other gutters from this location. In the next heavy rain a few days later when the tropical storm remnants passed over us and dropped 3" on the house in one day, everything worked perfectly. I definitely would hire again.
