ASkyline constructionhe done a great job. The floor had rotted out under tile. I have a background in civil engineering and a "jackleg" carpenter, but at my age this project was to much for me to take on. When a sister came to visit she was afraid of failing through! I called Brian, got a quote and he started the next day. This sort of project is the hardest any contractor can take on . He completed it in a day and a half and a at fair price. ARay's Electrical Service LLCFrank did a great job! He arrived right on time and put up two ceiling fans in an hour! We then hired him to come another time to replace a chandelier in a room with 20’ ceiling. It was tricky but he did just what we wanted. AMac Handy ConstructionIt went as great as it possibly could have if not better! The deck is a place we can relax every evening and is absolutely gorgeous! We get so many compliments on how beautiful it turned out. We have recommended MacHandy's services to all of our family and friends. The rooms they painted are just stunning. It is absolute perfection. I will definitely use MacHandy's for all of our remodeling and home repairs and even the add on to our home we are planning. AMBG Painting LLCMiguel was always prompt in calling, meeting, and showing up when he said he would to paint. He is very professional and polite. He did an amazing job and will only use him going forward to paint. He painted the inside of my condo which is roughly 1450 square feet. He did the ceiling, wallls, and trim including base boards. AI ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion. AHad a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.

DInitially called to set up an appointment for an estimate, didn't show on the first appointment. When we called to find out why it was rescheduled for 25 May 2017. The appointment on 25 May was kept and when He showed up he was very nice and attentive to what we were planning on doing in this remodel. He walked the entire house, took measurements and wrote his notes. He provided me his card and then said it was a good bit of work but he would work up the estimate and have the numbers back to me within a week. After a week, I had not heard or received anything from him. After two weeks I called and the office clerk took my name to research the issue. At first they said they couldn't find where he had ever been at our house, then they found the appointment but said he had been busy and was still working the estimate. After another 3 weeks I called, they still had trouble finding my file and he still had not completed the estimate. I waited until the end of July, called back and still had not completed the estimate and the owner never got on the phone to explain or offer an apology. After this experience I mentioned the company name around a few friends that had home improvements done and it was a consensus that A&J Home Improvements was not a company to do business with.

When the crew came out, they were very friendly and got along great. They were very quick and efficient. Had to get license # for insurance and didnt hesitate to give it unlike other contractors.
