AAlatech Home InspectionMr. Brooks was VERY personable, yet professional. His inspection was VERY thorough. You could tell it was a technical based inspection, relying on current building codes and requirements. While providing us with a verbal review of his findings, Mr. Brooks used everyday, layman's terms. I was pleased with all aspects of the inspection; from the initial telephone conversation, to explaining his rates, promptness of scheduling the inspection and being there at the scheduled date & time to explaining the results verbally and ease of accessing the report on line, Larry Brooks was OUTSTANDING. We used him for two home inspections and I would readily hire him for another. I whole-heartedly recommend this person to any and all who are in need of such services- Dino N.

AThe Mad HatterEvery thing went very well. They kept me informed and answered all my questions. Repairs required apart that had been produced in over twenty years. They said they could make in their sheet metal short. Called me later to inform me that he had found the part in their warehouse. Saved me the cost of building one..they returned two days later to install the part. Every thing was preformed in profession and efficient manner. ACHIMNEY SWEEP COMPANYJohn had previously cleaned chimneys in home for previous owner. He examined 1st chimney and determined it had been used very little since last cleaning. He recommended not cleaning the unit. He cleaned second unit and installed an animal guard per my request. He was very careful to protect the carpet and keep dust and soot out of the living space. He is chatty, but is informative and professional.- Dan P.

They made you feel like you were a part of their family. Aside from the kindness and great service, the actual workers were respectful, and extremely knowledgable. They arrived on time, took the extra time to make sure they would not make a mess--I think my home was cleaner after they left than before they did the work!!! ABatts' Chimney ServicesOur chimney was never right from the time the house was built and couldn't be used because smoke wouldn't rise and would come back down into the house. I wanted to have a warm relaxing atmosphere when my son came home from school during the holidays but it was December and they were booked solid. They asked me if I didn't mind them coming out on the Sunday before the Christmas holiday they could fit me in then, no extra charge. The employee that came out to my house was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous as well as his helper. After assessing my issues they determined another day to come back out and perform the work, the work was very involved as they had to climb inside the chase but they remained so courteous the entire time. While here they determined my chase cap was rusted out and we needed a new one but the lengths we thought we would have to go to to obtain a properly working chimney were not even needed, it turned out to be significantly less than we anticipated. I was not as happy with the cost of the cap that was installed, but all the other services were very reasonably priced and performed perfectly. The end result was a working fireplace that hadn't been used in years and a perfect Christmas with my family. I would definetely recommend this company to anyone with fireplace draw issues.- Susan G.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

BWoodall Heating and Cooling assisted during my house closing by inspecting my unit and replacing a start capacitor. After the work was completed and sale completed, the run capacitor failed. After originally paying for the original inspection and service, they returned promptly to diagnose the issue and provided a temporary window unit to assist cooling the house. As they previously provided a service and inspection, they provided this service free of charge while I worked with my warranty company. This is a sign of a company that understands business and consumer relationships past making a profit off of every interaction. Instead they invested in the relationship with a person which will trickle through the community and assist their business in the long term.
