    GasPro
I cannot praise GasPro highly enough. Jason and his crew are fantasticknowledgeable, prompt, courteous, and thorough. I used this company on my previous home when we put it on the market and had to repair a non-working gas fireplace. Other repairmen told me Id have to replace the whole unit at the cost of $1000 or more. Jason came in and easily repaired the faulty part, saving me a ton of money. When we moved, we bought a home with two fireplaces that didnt work. Once again, a local repairman told me there was no good way to fix them. So I called Jason who literally went the extra mile to service us. He sent Jon--a polite, skilled, efficient young man who spent part of his off-day working on our fireplaces, gas grill, and water heaters. He repaired our fireplaces and assessed our other appliances for future repairs. In all my years as a homeowner, I have never encountered a company that serves its customers like GasPro. I am so appreciative of these guys and their commitment to excellent work, professionalism, and customer service. They are the only gasfitters I feel comfortable using. A quick online search will show other glowing reviews of this company that are similar to mine. Highly recommend!!

I called concerning low water pressure and no hot water to the back of my home. When they arrived I told them there was low water pressure and the back of the home was not getting hot water. The checked in the attic and checked the temperature on the water heater. Not one time did they go to the back of the home where the problem was. They told me everything was fine on the water heater by checking the sink directly under the heater for temperature, not the area I was having problems in. Furthermore I kept stating I was having a low pressure issue. Finally they went to the street and dug up the adjustment valve. The issue I have here is the fact they did not have a gauge to check the water pressure, which is the main reason I called. Had I not had a gauge this work could not of been accomplished. After they turned up the pressure to over 100psi, they informed me they are not responsible for any damage they may cause. I informed them the pressure needs to be at the proper level so as not to damage any of my plumbing. Once everything was set the bill was paid, no receipt was given and they went on their way.

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
First call to complete preventative maintenance to insure no roots in line as occurred two years prior. Prompt response and courteous technician however he allowed a pine cone to fall in to the check pipe but assured me it would not be a problem and he failed to re-snake the drain. Technician left. Five days later there is an obstruction in the drain pipe. Office staff seemed less than courteous with a "we'll be there when we get there" attitude and reminding me I would get a telephone call prior to the technicians arrival. That telephone call never came! Although I have an issue with the first technicians failure to re-snake...I have an issue with the callous attitude of the office staff who didn't seem to have a professional and caring demeanor!

Called for service at 10a; service provider was on site by 2:30p. Work completed promptly and professionally. I've used Caldwell & Sons twice in last six months for plumbing issues I could not handle myself. They are my go-to company for plumbing or electrical.

They ran into numerous obstacles, thru no fault of their own, which required them to spend several hours longer on the installation. They discovered three inches of concrete (and wire mesh) concealed beneath the tile counter top that had to be hand chiseled with a screwdriver to remove and they managed to do it without breaking a single tile. It required patience and ingenuity to compete a job that just seemed to get worse by the hour. Through all this they were very patient and professional the entire time and the job was completed beautifully. They honored the original estimate despite the much extended labor. I highly recommend them and they will be returning to our home in a few weeks to complete more work for us. The cost of service does not include the vessel sinks or faucets. We purchased/ordered them prior to calling for an estimate, but it does include all additional necessary plumbing supplies.

The electrical box was originally located inside a closet, so that was relocated to the outside per code. The septic line under the house was completely demolished and they installed a new line. Later we found out that the property didn't have a septic tank, and Caldwell was quick to come back and move it to the other side of the house once the engineer informed us where the septic tank needed to be installed. They couldn't connect the septic line to the septic tank, only stubbed it outside. They also made sure the line to the city water was replaced. Re-wiring was great. They were willing to install extra outlets in different rooms that weren't originally there, and also wired to install an HVAC system. Also re-wired for a new water heater. Came out a separate time to hook up the water heater when we finally had purchased it.

Marty did an excellent job. He helped us through the entire process. Once we had everything reviewed by the engineer and the public health department, it only took Marty and his crew 2 days to completely install our new field lines. They did excellent work and our septic system has worked better than ever.

After calling several plumbers and bathroom specialists one of the specialists referred us to Whisnant Plumbing.  I called and Joe, the owner, and his wife Jennifer came out to look at our bathtub and give us an estimate.  They were very detailed about what they would have to do and also told us which tiles would have to come out, we have tile on our bathroom wall.  They also gave me different options for bathtubs and and handle, spout and shower head options.  I was sent the estimate the next day and it was a great price and I knew that it would be quality work.  They were ready to do the work that weekend, but we had to hold off due to us having something to do that weekend.  They came out the next week and all the work was done in one day.  After we called someone in to do the tile we called them and they came back out 2 days later, Joe was out of town, and put on the spout, handle and shower head.
I am very very happy with the work and we will be calling them again for all of our plumbing needs.

I had a plumber associated with my home warranty come out to assess the problem. They claimed that my home did not have a ground level clean out, and they would have to go out on the roof (not covered by home warranty) or install a clean out on the side of the house. Their prices seemed high and I was suspicious.

After reading favorable reviews on Angies I called Caldwell and Sons for a second opinion. I put in a call mid-day and received a call back within a few hours. He scheduled me for the following morning, and came out promptly. They showed me that we in fact have TWO clean outs at the ground level (one under the kitchen sink specifically for the drain in question). They were very professional, cleaned the drain (for less than half the priced quoted by the other company), and wrote up a quick explanation of our existing clean out locations to support our argument with the home warranty program. We will definitely be using them in the future for all our plumbing needs.

Took some time to determine the problem. The sons considered between water valve and a problem with the hot water heater. Yesterday it rained, and it was too wet to dig to determine if it were the valve. This morning they determined it was the water heater. The part was replaced and cleaned in less than an hour. Now knowing that the part only cost $4, I feel we were over charged.
