    Kissel III, Dr. Edward U.
I have had no problems with Dt. Kissel or his staff in all the years and times I have been to see him. I really like the way he explains what options are available. He seems to be able to spend as much time as needed. I have had no problems with the 3 joint replacement he has done for me. after all the years and visits I would not even consider anyone else to do this surgery.

    Bramlett, Dr. Kenneth W.
My recent hip replacement was done by Dr Bramlett.  He is an expert surgeon and did an awesome job on my new hip.  I am less that two weeks from surgery and doing great.  He is very direct and does not waste time, which is what you would expect.  I appreciated his recommendations and frankess, and most of all I appreciated his skill as a surgeon and the years of experience he brings.  THANK YOU DR BRAMLETT.

    Alabama Orthopaedic Center
After having rotator-cup surgery some 6-7 weeks ago, and then being in an auto accident that injured the same shoulder, visits were necessary to verify that the surgery was not impacted and that healing was progressing. This practice is the greatest! Terrific doctors and support staff!

    Mark Elkus MD
Dr. Elkus is a listener though he doesn't allow one to yammer on and on. He definitely directs the appointment. His staff have been at the practice for years, no turnover that I have ever seen. He's watching even though you don't necessarily know it. The last time I saw him, he was taking notes and referenced my gait - I wasn't aware that he had seen me walking. Not the first time that happened.

    Lemak Sports Medicine
the assistant came in to discuss medical history and the injury. Once she left, it wasn't another 2 minutes until the Dr. came in. The same time-frame continued through ultrasound, medical equipment (knee brace), scheduling, and check out. The staff was uber-professional, almost making me feel cheated that we were in and out of their so quickly. All members of the staff reiterated to call back if there were any questions. Only slight flaw on check-out was that there was no diagnosis or treatment sheet to take home with us. Best thing for us is that it's close...and great!

I am very confident with him. He was really great. I had surgery planned but I was really glad to hear that we could try other things first. He is so nice, his bedside manner is really great. He explained everything to me and it seemed like he went the extra mile to explain it all clearly. I feel really good about his background and education. I like the fact that he wanted to try other options before surgery. I did have to wait in the waiting room for a long time, but once I got to see him, he was really great. I felt really hopeful about the treatment plan after I left.

Dr. Hodges took careful notes of all previous work done, and then assessed current symptoms in some detail. He had xrays of my shoulder and neck taken, and evaluated them to some extent, while I waited briefly. Afterward he scheduled a nerve conduction test, and some physical therapy to help with my neck and shoulder. The nerve conduction test (scheduled through a different office) showed some nerve entrapment in my right arm. The pain in the shoulder is likely bursitis. Dr. Hodges confirmed this on follow-up visit. Surgery for the nerve isn't urgent. Physical Therapy is helping with the shoulder. The Physical Therapy Office in this orthopedic group is efficient and effective. In just 3 sessions, I already notice increased mobility and less pain in my right shoulder. I am only scheduled for therapy for 3 weeks. Then they will turn me loose with a set of exercises to continue at home. Great job! [Billing is a little slow for my insurance, however.]
