    Kevin's Roofing and Remodeling
They replaced our roof and repaired several places where the decking and eaves wood were rotting. The crew worked hard and efficiently and the work was done beautifully. We are very satisfied with the work and will hire this company again.

After assuring us the job would take no longer than four weeks, the job was not completed on time. There was zero communication from the two workers assigned to our job. Finally, around week six, and calls to corporate, the two workers make contact with us about the delays. First off, they told me we hadn't even reached four weeks from the start of the contract (they had mistaken me for someone else). They finally realize that I am about to hit seven weeks from the start of the contract and zero work has been done. I ask for my money back (I had initially paid them the entire estimate check the insurance had provided me). They finally begin moving on the work, supplies are dropped off and the work is completed in one day; great right? Nope. At the time I made the first payment, which again was the entire estimate check, I owed them a balance of approximately $640(to be paid by the insurance). Even with this balance remaining, they would owe me $40 when all said and done. When the workers came for me so sign the final invoice and have the final balance paid, they show up with an invoice reflecting a balance of $1300. This turns into a long, drawn out discussion about how it is possible I owe them that much when I have paperwork showing I only owe them $640. After not being able to explain it themselves, they call their office in search of this explanation. Turns out, the main office says I do owe this money and I shouldn't worry about it because the insurance will still pay depreciation. It doesn't matter if it was a legitimate debt or not, I have paperwork from the company reflecting a certain dollar amount and even return money coming to me. If that is not the accurate numbers, they should be up front with people, not hit them with hidden charges at the very end without the customer expecting it. Well, I paid the balance with the assurance that they would be submitting the final invoice and a letter of completion to the insurance company so they could release the depreciation funds. More than a month later, Storm Team Construction had still not submitted said paperwork to the insurance company. They were the third company we interviewed to fix our roof and they convinced us they were the best. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT A COMPETITIVE PRICE AND A JOB DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

    Fresh Start Home Services
Steve, at Fresh Start responded to me on the same day I called and came out to check my problem which he found shortly.
He and his workers came out the next day for the repair.  I asked to see the material they were using and it did look good to me.
Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction.  Truly I can't attest to quality of work since I did not go on roof but I did watch some of the work done.  Even had I gone on roof, I am no roofer and only know about materials they put down but I haven't had any more leaking.

    Absolute Guttering Svc

Mr.  Greeley had to wait a few extra days to do installation because of all the rain we were having.  As soon as there was a break in the rain, he came out and installed gutters with downspouts and leaf screens.  After installation was complete, he cleaned up and gave me tips on good ways to clean gutters.  He was pleasant, professional and I would recommend his services.

We saw that there were on Angie's list but we knew them from in town. They were spot on. Everything was like clockwork. It's the kind of experience you want. Everything was above and beyond my expectations.

    Absolute Guttering Svc
The owner and his son came to clean out the gutters on my home.  They blew all the pine straw and debris off the roof, cleaned out the gutters, and patched a couple of leaks.  They were extremely courteous and professional and I would recommend them without hesitation.

    ------Update-------

Brooke called me yesterday and explained everything even though she didn't have to. I completely understand the circumstances affecting her ability to respond. I would have personally found myself in the same situation given the extent of the circumstances. We are back in contact and are proceeding as previously agreed.

    ----Previous Review----

They were quick to dispatch someone to give us a quote when we called in April. They came out and told me what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. Then they told me they'd be in contact in late July to discuss starting the work in
August. They left me with a handshake and a quote in my hands and I agreed to wait because I had been told they do excellent work and everyone I know that heard I was needing my roof replaced told me to call Superior. When they left I was sure we were good to go.
Well, as I'm writing this it is now August 11th... I've been trying to call them for over a week now and I have left several messages, but no one has called me back. I'm not sure what the issue is because no one will answer the phone or tell me whats going on. Their voicemail hasn't filled up so I know someone is checking their messages (let's assume I'm not the only one that is calling them)... Not the experience I expected to get after everyone raved about how good they were. It wouldn't even matter if they were too busy with other jobs and couldn't do the work for us if they'd at least tell me that was the case. Maybe I'm not in the know and that's how business is conducted now a days. Where I work when a person asks you to leave your name, number, and a message and state that they will return your call and then don't return your call... that's unprofessional regardless of the circumstances.
Not what I expected from a "Super Service Award" recipient. I guess that should tell you how much that's worth.

He arrived just as promised, and the work was performed without any problems.  His crew was clean and respectable. When the roof was completed they cleaned up their mess. It was a very good experience.
