    They installed it where it wasn't up to code and they then they left a bunch of wires exposed, and when I went to use it, it didn't turn on. Go figure! Really bad. I only know that because when it didn't turn on, I said, "You know, I think I am going to call someone else," because it was getting scary at that point, and so they did an inspection and told me some of the parts weren't up to code. From what I understand, it wasn't a good price for that unit either. They didn't make me wait or anything to get it.

    Country Boyz Heating & A/C
    I called on a Wednesday to request Country Boyz send someone out to give us an estimate on replacing our heat pump system. They were able to send someone the very next day. The guys that came out were extremely professional and honest. They gave us a very reasonable quote and advised us on whether or not it was possible/necessary to upgrade a half a ton to fix some cooling issues upstairs. They were not pushy at all and simply gave us the information we needed to be able to make our decision, and then stood back and let us decide. This was much appreciated! Once we decided we were ready to purchase the system, we called them on a Friday evening (fully expecting to have to leave a message), but got someone immediately. She booked our appointment for the upcoming Tuesday to have our system replaced. On Tuesday morning, it was pouring down rain so we fully expected a reschedule so the installers didn't have to work in the rain. Our installers called 30 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment and wanted to reschedule for the next day. However, their reasoning was so that they wouldn't get our house muddy. I really appreciated this customer focused response, and had no problem rescheduling. The installers came the next day on time (they were even a little early and called to confirm this was okay). They installed our unit and kept us updated throughout the process. I have dealt with many other companies and have never experienced the immediate peace of mind that we were making a good decision with a trustworthy company that the Country Boyz staff provided us. They left our house as clean as it was when they arrived and took all of the trash and other detritus with them. We will definitely use Country Boyz again.

    Awesome! Roy called me right back, came over within a few and determined the problem. They told me the problem, and estimated price range and did not try to pile on. They ended up charging less than th eupper limit of the estimate even thought I told them the price range was in my budget. Knowledgeable, honest, reasonably priced and good people.

    Turned out to be a bad vacuum switch. I thought $300 was a bit excessive for a $30 part (installation included), but overall a good experience. Very professional and no up-sell. I had a new thermostat I was going to install, but Matthew pointed out that it wouldn't work. I opted for him to install a new Trane Wi-Fi unit for an additional $400 (it's a pricey thermostat, but worth it) Everything works great and no other issues. I'll use them again.

    I purchased the furnace deal for $1399. I purchased it on Friday and they came out Saturday morning to install. I had them out to check my furnace the week before and they quoted me $2500 for a Trane furnace installed. I saw this deal on Angie's list the next week and was so happy!! They installed a Goodmin which is fine with me. I am just waiting on them to send me the service contract details. I have asked for it since Last Saturday when I spoke to them but have not gotten that information yet. Nor have I received the warranty information. That is really my only problem is when you contact someone they don't call back or reply to emails.

    This was a great value except that the technician was very late, about 6 hours late.  He was scheduled to arrive between 11-1 and at 2, when I called the office, they told me he was running late and wouldn't be there until 6 p.m.  The woman that I spoke to knew all of this right off the bat and did not have to check to see where the technician was or when he would be here.  A call to let me know that the technician would be very late would have been great!  The technician was nice and seemed competent.

    I had Freedom Heating and Cooling come out on a Friday June 13th to give me a second opinion on my ailing cooling system. Skip (Technician) went through the system thoroughly without making any assumptions and gave me an accurate picture of what my system needed and the different repair paths that were open to me, differing from the company that I used that only wanted "to sell me a new system" He was willing to explain all of the new efficiency and freon regulations and how that would impact me if i moved to a new system. After his diagnosis was complete they actually have a supervisor (Ashley) come by to verify the findings of the Technician. After evaluating their recommendations I made a decision to go with a new system. Freedom was able to locate the type of system that I decided upon and was able to arrange an installation for the next day even though it was 6:00PM on a Friday. The install technicians arrived promptly the next morning and went about replacing the old system. This was done very quickly (around 2 hours) and they cleaned up any messes that were created and removed the old equipment as well. The install technicians were able to give very good instructions on the operation and maintenance of the new system. Overall I am very satisfied with the entire process and would recommend them to anyone needing their HVAC system evaluated and if necessary replaced.

    The technician was on time he was very explicit on any questions and i do ask lots of them. I even asked about the duct cleaning and he explained the details on how he would think it would go..and offered information on how to schedule a visit if i ever decided to go for it.     We just moved into a new house and wanted to have the air ducts cleaned. I found a coupon on Angie's List for Freedom and it was a very easy process purchasing and scheduling the service. The time slot was 9-11 and the technician arrived right at 9. He was nice and courteous and went over everything he would be working on during the visit. It took around 2.5 hours. He had a few recommendations after cleaning everything, but was not pushy on purchasing extra items or services. We will definitely call Freedom again if we need heating or cooling needs!
