    Triad Restoration Inc.
My home had been vandalized and Triad was contracted through my insurance agency to make the $32,000.00 in repairs. We live out of state, so we had to trust they would do the work properly. The work they did was fantastic, so I’m told by my shady property manager. However, while the Triad crew was working on my home, a neighborhood child threw a ball and broke the highest window in my in the house. The Triad crew let him go and did not tell me about the window. I didn’t find out about it until my HOA demanded it be fixed and my property manager asked Triad if they knew how it had been broken. I still can’t wrap my head around grown adults who are supposed to be professionals, watching my window being broken and not notifying me at the least but not even getting the name of the boy or his address. It makes me even wonder if there was a boy and if the crew members broke it themselves. For this lack of professionalism, they wouldn’t even get 1 Star if it was an option.

Rick handled everything in a efficient and professional way. He looked at the job and quickly supplied me with estimatesome on several different things I requested free of charge. He did part of the work, at my request, and then returned two or three weeks later to do other items on my estimate. He worked around my new tenants schedule which was quite inflexible, I must mention, definitely making unnecessary trips so they could be present. I was very happy with the entire experience.

How'd it go you ask? Well I cannot use enough positive adjectives to describe the quality of the work and the ease of working with Paul and his crew, Don and Brian.  The job was done correctly and at a reasonable cost. Paul listened to what we needed/wanted and he was able to complete the work within budget. We have already started a future list of jobs for ?A Cut Above Carpentry. It is very reassuring to know we can trust Paul and his crew to complete the work properly and in a reasonable time frame.  We are confident in his integrity and ability, and that makes us very happy!

Tommy was very easy to deal with. He provided the estimate and I thought it was fair. His team hit the floor running and did the work and was flexible. They were concerned with keeping the mess contained.

Choosing someone to do work in my home is a nerve wracking experience for me. I want someone that I can trust to stay true to their word, is punctual, professional, arrives and completes job on time, of course does quality work, and I want all of this for a fair price. Paul Bryan exceeded my expectations in every one of these categories. I felt comfortable having them in my home and I felt comfortable leaving them in my home when we weren't here. Usually have work done in my home feels like a huge inconvenience and is an unpleasant at best. This was not at all our experience with Paul and his crew. He's completed two jobs for us and we are in the planning stages to begin the next. I highly recommend using A Cut Above Carpentry. Paul Bryan is a man of his word and does quality work. I can't wait to get him started on our next project.

We communicated by email to begin with, he let me make the appointment that best suited my schedule.  Charles told me in the email he would like to go room by room to see what needed done.  Worked out great.  He explained his work schedule in detail and he stuck by that.  Charles was never late.  We wanted to do some of the work ourselves to save some money, such as the final painting, he had no problem with this and even gave us tips to make it go smoother.  We ran into a problem with the floors that we were doing ourselves, staining the concrete ( I would never suggest you tackle this project) let someone else do it.  Anyway, Charles worked with us as he had another job he could go to that would take a couple of weeks.  It worked out great for both of us because we needed more time.   During the entire time Charles worked with us, he was a professional.  We have two rambunctious young children, he made sure to tell us where there could be dangers around the work area.  We kept the children away, but he was very conscientious of others around him when he was working. We gave Charles a key to come and go as he needed,  He always let us know what time he would be there, sometimes we would be on the way out, Charles never abused the privilege.   Charles kept us apprised as to what he did each day and what his plans would be for the next days ahead.  It really helped because we could try to have whichever room ready before he came.   We are thoroughly pleased with the end results, we are still painting (because we needed to save a little) as soon as we are through painted there will be pictures posted of the after.  The house looks updated and totally remodeled. We are so pleased with the results. This man knows what he is doing,  I will recommend him and have to many of my friends and co-workers.

The workers were very friendly, polite, and professional. They finished the jobs in a timely manner and cleaned up the work area when they were finished. We will definitely call them again when we need repairs done!

I hope I actually included everything Paul did, but I might have left out something. Paul and his workers did an OUTSTANDING job with the work on a 1950s house that has enough settling that they had to compensate for it in the bathroom. We are looking forward to working with A Cut Above Carpentry again on several other large home improvement projects.
