    DR. Joseph Atkins Pettus
I was very displeased. I had an operation and twice that night unscheduled I was meat on the table. He blew out two veins off the main artery. He didn't know what was going on, all they knew was blood pressure was dropping. the first time it started plummeting they pulled the crash cart in and the cardiologist had arrived just before them. He told them not to put the paddles on me because my hart was fine there was another reason the pressure was dropping.  The Urologist had me brought back to OR for emergency they gave me more transfusion and the bp recovered. he cauterized what he could find. He had somehow blown it out somewhere else. A trauma surgeon was in the hospital and he convinced my doctor to turn me over to him. He ran me through a CT scan found the leakers and fixed it. I recovered after 12 units of blood. Dr. Pettus never got the job done. He was setting up his legal defense talking to my family he was very guarded when talking to my family. He didn't know what happened, he never figured it out. I have a new doctor now. I had a crisis of confidence.

    Rupen Joshi MD
His expertise is in the elderly. You don't have the family practice and the children around, you just have people your age which is nice. His bedside manner is what stands out. He takes the time to explain what he's telling you, whether it's a diagnosis or preventative care or something you should be doing. I've never felt rushed. I've never felt that he wasn't sincere in doing what's best for me and my health. I like the fact that his practice is for the seniors and that I really get the feeling that he is an old fashioned doctor because he is interested in his patients and not his pocketbook. I'm sure that it all plays in because he is a business but he doesn't make you feel that way. He even gave me a compliment on how well I was following his instructions and being a good patient. That is one of the major reasons I have stayed with him. I like his personablity and that his expertise is more of our age group. He takes one day off on Friday's and he makes his patients aware, but the rest of the staff are in for any questions. If there is an emergency you can always find a way to get a hold of him if needed. The office building has just been renovated and the decor isn't really my preference but it is clean, neat and there is plenty of seating. I have never had waiting long enough to even pick up a magazine, so I'm never waiting past my appointment time. I've been going to him for almost three years and I've never had to wait to get in to my appointment. The staff are excellent and can handle most things over the phone. If you need to be referred to a specialist they set everything up for you and call to make sure all of the scheduling works for you. They are very professional. He takes notes on a laptop as he is talking to you so he is writing down the current status of my heath when he is talking to me and he is putting down a change in medication or a request that I have. When I leave I get a copy of that, so I get an update of my current health status so that I don't have to memorize everything he's saying because I've got it in writing from him. They don't bill you until after they go through the insurance process.

Dr Flatt was the doctor that I saw for about 10 minutes. He provided enough samples of a drug to last a month that seemed to work well. Then I found out that my insurance wouldn't cover that drug. I called for a covered prescription, couldn't talk to him and was given a prescription by an assistant that caused horrible side effects. Later I called again and was given a different prescription by the assistant, more side effects and am still waiting to find something that works.

    Hudson, Dr. Gary W
Dr. Hudson is very professional, knowledgeable, and has a lot of experience. He just didn't go in and do something - he explained everything to me in detail. I felt very informed, whereas with other, past dentists, I didn't feel that I had all the information to where I could ask the right questions. That was excellent on his part -- especially when facing surgery. He was very low-key and personable. His staff was very professional as well. I felt like I was being taken care of properly. I had always heard horror stories about implants - but I've never had any pain during the healing process of both implants.

    Family Medicine Of Huntsville
We've never had any trouble getting an appointment or had to wait longer than a few minutes to see someone. We also really appreciate the small children's waiting area, which has plenty of toys, books and a tv tuned to kids programming. The staff is also sure to book any physicals or lab work well in advance, which is nice.

    Roberts, Dr. R. Brian
My appointment was for 8:15, I was in the room and seen by Dr, Roberts by 8:20. When you talk to Dr. Roberts, it like talking to your friend and he goes over your entire health and well being.

    Irma M Fernandez Deleon
My most recent visit to Dr. Deleon, I had pain and numbness in my left arm. I called Dr. Deleons office for an immediate appointment and I was seen right away. Dr. Deleon thoroughly checked me and immediately sent me to the hospital where tests were done for a possible stroke or heart attack. I now know in hind sight that I should have gone directly to the hospital emergency room, but Dr. Deleons office is located adjacent to the hospital and I didnt think my symptoms were that serious. I was scolded for great concern by Dr. Deleon for not going directly to the hospital emergency room. All tests came back negative and I am truly relieved.

    Nguyen, Dr. Van T.
Dr. Nguyen was extremely thorough in explaining the nature of my problem and we discussed at some length my various treatment options. The only negative issue I had was over a lengthy delay in receiving a response to a question I had regarding my prescription. It took three phone calls and over a week before he returned my phone call. It appears that the delay was in part due to a misunderstanding and he sincerely apologized for the delay and then provided an answer to all my questions in great detail.

    Ravipati, Dr. Mahipal
Wednesday is the only day the office is open until 6pm so for anyone with school age children who need shots this is the only day that seems to work so the waiting room is often full.  The  staff is pleasant and the doctor is personable.  I believe the treatment is helping.  I believe the address listed on angie's is incorrect we see him at 4000 Balmoral Dr SW suite 101 Huntsville AL
