    I've had them 12+- years. I don't ever have any problem with the internet or anything. If I have a question, I give them a call. If the power goes out, I don't have any worries, and don't have an interruption in service. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them.

    I have called WOW several times for help with internet and cable. Each time the rep has been friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

    They're really our only choice out here right now. We've been with them for two years. We have had to call them. I would say that they resolved it in a timely manner. HD is good. The quality of the internet, I don't particularly like. Other than that its fine. We have two or three movie channels.

    HD television picture is excellent, but their DVR is archaic ... no easy to navigate grid of shows, difficult to use favorite channels, unable to search for shows by name, and worst - DVR is limited to one TV in one room ... no whole house DVR here!  Will be actively looking at other providers.  Internet speed is excellent, but they didn't tell me that the speed I was used to with Comcast in Florida costs an extra $30 per month.  Overall, I'm rather disappointed with this company.

    I don’t have many choices here. I pay them by the month. I don’t have much to compare them with except that I got the consumers’ report yesterday, and Mediacom falls at the bottom. The main reason I am still with Mediacom is that it’s easy to stay with them than it is to change. I have not had a problem with their cable service, but we drop out with the internet quite frequently over the past two to three years. The main thing is when my kids are doing papers and stuff that they haven’t saved, they lose all the stuff when it goes off, and it might stay off for two minutes or it might stay off for hours. Whenever I call, they are good about responding, but they cannot determine why we are falling off it. They come out when they say they will come out.

    The installation of digital channel box went flawless. The digital service coming thru the TV is awful.  When you choose a specific channel to view, most of the time a message will appear stating "The channel will appear shortly". I have waited for more than three minutes before a channel will appear. Once I never did get the channel to come thur at all. Also on several occasions the channels appear to be scrambled. You get no reception at all. This can last up to two or three days. I believe for the cost of the cable service we should receive better reception.  We were forced to switch over to "digital" or we would have no cable service at all from Charter Communications.   I don't know if the switch over by Charter to Digital still has bugs in the format?  If Charter is truly having problems to solve with their new programing. we the customers should be credited until all the problems are worked out.  It is very disgusting to try to watch specific programs and the channels we pay for are scrambled, or blocked by the "please wait" message from Charter. Sinced we were required to get "digital cable" or lose our "standard cable" we are being held over a barrel. For $100 per month we should have perfect service.

    I had them come out 7 times to get my service up and working. The phone worked after the first try but the internet and cable did not work. There was a different service man every time they came out to fix the issue. Every one of the service men stated the worker before did not know what they were doing but stated they did. The service would work for about a month and then would go out. One TV had a booster box and that went out completely. The other boxes went out with only upper channels available. When I call to speak with someone and they tell me the same thing I have already heard, I ask to speak with a supervisor and they tell me no! I have also been hung up on! I switched over to them because they gave me a lower price which I thought was wonderful. I am still dealing with having no service and I am tired of being punched around and tired of the abuse. The service providers that came out to TRY to fix they work were polite, but when I speak to someone on the phone they are rude and very unprofessional.

    I have been a Knology customer ( $80 bundle package) for 4 months...and am now on hold trying to cancel their service. This has been the worst service of its type that I have ever had. The "installation expert" plugged the wrong cord into my modem and fried it - so I ended up having to rent a modem. The monthly bill was $20 more than advertised due to "fees" and the whole first month I struggled with getting the service to work - after a month and way too many phone hours and tech visits to mention - they finally figured out that their "new" service wasn't compatible with the modems they were using. I have to say that after hours of phone calls they finally authorized me a month free ("free" didn't include the 20 some hours I spent of my own time on the phone with them) service. Even today - calling to cancel their service I had to wait on the phone 22 minutes before I got through. This company needs some serious help! On a positive note - almost all of the employees that I dealt with were polite and showed good customer service skills.
