    KID'S PLACE
I loved the Kid's Place! My daughter entered kindergarten knowing her letters and numbers. She could also read decodable words. Even though my child spent a good bit of time playing outside, she never once came home with a sunburn! I was very pleased with the atmosphere of the center and the professionalism of its employees. I would recommend this center to anyone I know with no reservations that I was making a good suggestion.

    BOAZ HEAD START
Boaz Head Start is a wonderful place to sent your child before they start Kindergarten. My son was only saying a couple of words due to a speech problem, he's been going for only 3 months and his speech is amazing. They work with children one on one with what each child needs. The teacher's are wonderful and are very experienced. They know what they are doing. I fully trust these teacher's with my child. AWESOME place.

    KID'S PLACE
My daughter attended this daycare when she was 3 years until she started kindergarten, and attended a summer program this past year.  They use the Abeka Preschool program from 2 years up.  She learned so much and was above average when she started school.  The knowledge she gained definitely gave her the needed foundation for her public school years.  It is comforting to know your child is being well cared for in a Christian atmosphere while you work.  They actually have some certified teachers and to me this is certainly an advantage.  The director is awesome to work with in any situation.

    FAITH CREATIVITY & ACHIEVEMENT
The teachers were great, but the turn over rate for the staff speaking to past families are high. My niece and  nephew learned a lot from the school. But it is too much stuff. There are pictures on the floor, wall, etc. It is congested for the amount of space. The owner was putting plastic on top of pictures  with tape, when I picked up my niece one day and I was thinking don't you have enough stuff down. I would give the owner the money each week only to have to wait for my receipt another week later. Sometimes, the receipts was done in pencil. She was so unorganized. She would blame her disorganization on the other co-owner, her husband.   She would tell the parents what they could or could not wear. I know she told  my sister about her housecoat twice.  My sister could not afford a coat and that is what she was using, for one. She had her work uniform underneath.  Anytime you would ask her something about the classroom, she could not tell you and told us to ask the other teacher.   The owners are nice people, but are so disorganize. These poor teachers work so hard and seem to get very little in return. There would be times when I would pop up just to see what staff was in the building and never seen the owner.  She probably greeted me 10% of the time that my niece and nephew came and none when they left.  My neice and nephew went to the school, back to back for the Preschool Program that was funded by some type of grant. So the first year they paid nothing and the next year my nephew had to pay 10.00 a week.  Hence, if he would have stayed for the summer, it would have been 85 a week. I was told that was their regular payments. My nephew learned a lot as well as my niece. But I felt that I would like to have seen the owners of the school a little bit more, since it is their school. How can you not be at something that is not yours.

    TINY TOTS DAY CARE CTR
Well, he was taken care of. Sometimes he would be sent home with another childs jacket, cup, etc. Other times they would not send his cup home. I sent in one of his security blankets when he first started going, and they lost it within the first two weeks. He was constantly getting sick, due to using other childrens' cups. The owner was friendly, but hardly ever there. Before it switched owners, i had an issue with the man yelling at my son because he was crying. At that point he was one. And its not like he had kids to play with. He was the only toddler in that room because the other children had went home sick The daycare portion of the church is now shut down due to most of the children going to head start or kindergarten. Thats what they say at least. IF they reopen, i would have to be pretty desperate for me to take my child back there.

CENTURY 2000 DAY CARE CTR INC
I would not recommend Century 2000 unless you are in dire need. They costs just as much as other providers that are much nicer. The are slacking in the area of diaper changes, my child got a bad case of diaper rash twice. They do provide good meals for the children. I once dropped my child off and their was another child lying behind the door and their were three staff members in the room while I was trying to enter unknowingly hitting the child lying behind the door. Their are a few other daycare providers in the area if night care is needed. I could not prove it, but it seemed as though my child spent a lot of time in the crib there as well.

    First Baptist Church of Williams
Our toddler was there several months.  Beginning while he was in the infant room, several times I went to pick up and he was alone in the room unattended.   I could have taken him and no one would have noticed.  A few months later, at pick up he was in a large group including older children in the gym sitting alone on the floor crying while the staff texted and had conversation among themselves not attending to the children at all.  Staff never noticed I had come into the gym, again I could have taken him and no one would have noticed.  Last straw was when he was bitten 6 times, on 3 occasions.  Twice on the face leaving  scar which remains today.  No action was taken to correct the situation or separate the biter from my toddler.  Biter was related to  a teacher at the daycare.   In the afternoons on the playground, staff could be observed standing around texting on their phones, paying no attention to the children in their care. All of these problems were addressed with mgmt.  First meeting was with Assistant Director  who said "Well I have the teacher's backs" basically telling me nothing would be said or done to correct any of this.  Next meeting was over the phone with Director and again while she apologized,  nothing was resolved.  She was unaware they texted, etc, because she was off in afternoons she said.  We had hoped our toddler would get more attention at a smaller daycare, but found out sadly, that if you don't go to church there and are not in the 'cliche' your child will be over-looked. I would not recommend this daycare in any form or fashion for anyone.  To this day, our toddler has a face scar from a bite.  While I understand children do bite, nothing was done to correct the situation even after 6 bites.
