    Allen Tree Service
under the circumstances, it went very well. i needed to have the tree removed that day since it fell across my driveway and my tenants were moving out the next morning. I understand they were busy and appreciate them getting to it that day....but $1,000 to remove half a tree...

    Green Matters Landscaping
Green Matters has done work for us previously!  they are absolutely great!!!  Very prompt, efficient and extremely courteous!  They even offered some additional tips on how to improve our grass situation!  I think if you use them for any services - you will be very happy!

    The Grass Guys, LLC
    1.  In 2015, the bad service began.  There are many examples, but the worst is that they just "forgot" to cut my lawn in the summer.  I called their office, I texted the technician, I left emails, I left voicemails and got no response.  At week 5 or 6 when my lawn had still not been cut, I found the owner and somehow got in touch with him directly.  He could not believe how bad my yard was and how it could have happened that no one responded to my numerous requests.  It must have taken him and his crew the better part of a day to cut my lawn.  They lost money because it took them forever.  And, the grass had grown over onto itself so the yard was damaged.
    2.  It is very difficult (impossible) to deal with the person in their office.  They "forget" to call you back and they know nothing of customer service skills.  You have to beg her to call you--numerous times. She is always about telling the customer how "they work" and not respond to any customer request--you beg them to take your money.
    2.  Early Spring 2016, I tried to contact their office to resume my yard maintenance.  I left two voicemails with their office girl and as usual--she didn't get back with me.  After a week of voicemails, I sent an email to them.  She finally called me and stated:  "they have just been busy and she was so sorry that she "forgot" to call me".  Here's the best part:  They can't resume my lawn maintenance because they are too busy. They are glad to put me on a list but they have no idea when their guys will catch up or they will be able to hire additional help.  I asked if they could work just cutting my backyard and I could work with as they got more time.  No.  They have no idea when they could help me they are just too busy.  I get it--I am not an important customer for them.  My lawn is almost an acre so it is a fair size account.
I told her that I was one of their first customers in the my area and I had sent them  several referrals.  I had been a customer for several years.  I had turned down other companies this Spring to stay loyal to Grass Guys.  I asked why the Grass Guys could not have been proactive and let their good customers (like me) that they were not going to be able to service us so we could make other arrangements.  Oh no they couldn't do that.  We have to try over 3 times, beg them to return our calls to take our business.  This is how good, long-term loyal customers are treated at The Grass Guys.  It is an interesting business model and I wonder if the owner knows what is going on.  I could never recommend them.  My yard is on a busy street and my neighbors always ask me for a recommendation.  Sadly, I have to tell them to never contact this company.  They do not treat their customers like they are valued.

These two showed up  as scheduled and did a remarkable job!  They came fully prepared and quickly raked, blew, bagged and hauled the many layers of leaves and pine straw that had been around for years!  They were very thorough and complete in their process of picking up limbs and stray branches.  They completely cleaned up - just as the "big deal" offered.  These guys were very professional and personable.
It went so well, I'm having them come back for other work!  Thanks Daniel and Gene.

He came within a few days after I called and did the work quickly and professionally. I was completely satisfied with the work and Steve is a pleasure to work with. I am very glad he is on Angie's list or I would not have found him. His work also made me trust Angie's list

They were prompt to come by and provide an estimate very quickly.  All of the other tree services I called, couldn't get by for over a week.  Gholston provided a great estimate, came to work quickly and with plenty of men to help.  The tree had fallen, and damaged  two fences, pool, landscaping, and furniture.  It was key to have the tree removed quickly so that other repairs could be performed.  Gholston removed the tree, leaving no mess --and they didn't hard my yard in the process.  They even helped stabilize a fence so that my yard would be secure until other repairs were completed.

    Lakeside Irrigation
The previous year, the contractor was not able to turn my irrigation system back on until late May.  He continued to delay the service visit.  I found this unacceptable, and did not invite the contractor back for further work.  He showed up anyway when I was not home and performed service without my request.  I payed for the service and clearly communicated that I no longer wanted this contractor to perform work for me

    Gray's Tree Service
Graham was our consultant who was great to work with.  We had 2-3 different crews for cutting down, hauling off etc.  All extremely professional and all wanted to do what they could to make us happy.  They brought in some very large trucks but all was handled very well.  It did take about 2 full business days to complete the work but we had a lot of trees to take down and remove. Would definitely recommend.

    ACE Tree Service
Their first job went well and the price was the most competitive.  Then I needed a pine tree removed that beetles had killed.  This time they were the high bidder.  I got three bids and Walter Lee was the low bidder.  Walter did a good job for a lot less.

This is the most responsive, consistent company we have ever dealt with.  They are thorough, do a great job, and if I ever have a special request, they do everything they can to accommodate us.  We have used Specialty for many years, and can only say the best things about them!
