    I was greeted and seen in a timely manner. The front office staff is well organized and friendly. The technician walked me through all the various preliminary procedures and explained their purposes. Dr. Amos promptly saw me, reviewed my health history, and adjusted my vision prescription. Dr. Amos is very knowledgeable, highly professional, and is genuinely interested in her patient's well-being. I will recommend Eye Associates to my wife and would recommend her to anyone looking for a comprehensive eye exam.

    I have a toddler so I was very specific on the phone to schedule my appointment when my son would be in MDO and made a point of mentioning this to the receptionist. I came in on my scheduled date and saw Dr. Herrington who was professional. The pregnancy had caused my astigmatism to worsen, so I needed new contacts. The entire appointment took awhile. They didn't have the contacts I needed in stock, so they suggested that I try a different brand. Then they sent in their finance person, who was very rude in explaining to me that this wouldn't be considered a medical problem so they wouldn't even try to submit it to my insurance company. Then they told me I would have to come back to have the contacts examined in the next week or two. I tried to explain that this would be during my child's school break, so I wouldn't have Childcare, but they said it would be a quick appointment and shouldn't be a problem to bring my 18 month old. Two weeks later, they kept my son and I waiting for over an hour. Their new lobby opens right onto an examining area with machines and computers, so of course, an epic battle ensued over trying to keep my 18 month old from running over and playing with these cool looking computers. They kept asking me about dilation and checking my pressure (things that had been checked previously at my annual visit, and which would be tested in six months at my next annual visit), even though I told them I was only there to evaluate the contacts. After twenty minutes of waiting back in an exam room, with more expensive gadgets and unlocked cabinets full of medical supplies, I just gave up on seeing someone. I marched to the front, had them write down my prescription and told them I couldn't wait any longer. The receptionist did not apologize or make eye contact or give me any indication that I would be seen soon. Then Dr. Clark, the doctor I was supposed to see, strolled up to the front and started gossiping and giggling with receptionist like they were in junior high. She was incredibly unprofessional and didn't seem to take her job seriously at all. My visit was unpleasant and would definitely have been better if their facilities were more child-friendly. But the main issue was how long we had to wait and how little they seemed to care about making their patients comfortable and happy. Unless you have nothing better to do, I would suggest finding a practice that values your time a little more.

    Exam was rushed.  Questions were ignored.  End result is that I left after 3 hours without having an answer to the questions I came in for and it wasn't for a lack of asking the Dr.  She was just too rushed to get the exam done and move on, as was her assistant.
