They were able to get me in immediately to check the bite. They gave me the necessary antibiotics and also made sure the tick was removed properly. Dr. Chery was very friendly and knew exactly what to do in this situation. She really gave me a sense of comfort by explaining everything including the medication. Another thing I like is that they have skincare products available to purchase and they will also consult with you over these products as well. They will also have a lunch and learn for people to attend for various skin products to educate you on it and can also give you a discount as well.

On Thursday afternoon I reported to Dr. Bilano's office to have what I thought would be a few of the small tumors removed. I again mentioned that I did not want anything like my previous experience - I only wanted the laser.  She assured me that that was what she was going to do.  She began hitting multitudes of spots on my face with the laser - all the time keeping up a patter about how I needed to buy more and more very expensive products (my description of the prices, not hers), how great this would be after the weekend, how I needed to make sure that I only used a Clarisonic that I bought from her (those other ones, especially the drugstore knockoffs, just weren't worth anything), and so on.
When she was finished, an associate (who looked a bit horrified at the result, but did carry through with explaining the topical medication and not to wear makeup for a couple of days - she did slip and say a week of recovery, first time I had heard more than 2-3 days- and then continued Dr. Bilano's hard sell on more product) finished up the visit.  I looked in the mirror, but wasn't wearing glasses, so I had no idea until I got home that she had, indeed, left me with a face full of the open lesions I had repeatedly told I her I didn't want!
You cannot imagine how horrified I was - and there was no going back!  Despite using the topical meds and no makeup, the lesions only got worse over the weekend.  A friend's mother died and I missed the funeral because my face was so bad that I was still scaring small children!  At the end of the weekend (nearly 4 days later, not 2-3), I could go out in public - if I put on a full burka!  It was nearly a week and a half before I was semi-comfortable going anywhere.  I don't know about most people, but I didn't have a week and a half to hang around the house,  I would NEVER have done this if she had given me an honest idea of what the procedure entailed.  She told me she had had it done and several others in the office had and it was great.  All of those women had good skin with fine pores.  I don't, so the results would not necessarily be the same.  BUT THE WOMAN IS A DERMATOLOGIST!  SHE IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT ALL KINDS OF SKIN!  SHE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO DISFIGURE YOU!  But she did.
At the end of the month, I had to go to the family event that I had told her about, still with some open places on my face.  I had to wear extremely heavy makeup (in South Louisiana - yeah, that worked well) and I had to go on television to deal with some very difficult things, acutely aware of how horrible I looked.
The original tumors were a bit embarrassing, but I had learned to live with them.  Dr. Bilano said that she could get rid of them with this simple laser treatment.  I believed her and tried it.  A month and a half later, the worst of the tumors or whatever are still there, only now they each have a less than lovely scar around them.  Some of the lesser places are still prominent scars and I still  have to wear much more makeup than I ever did before.
I read reviews of this doctor before I ever set foot in her office.  I asked questions.  Repeatedly.  I tried to trust her.  I hope others will not make the same mistake.  Her practice is all about selling products, NOT about the best interest of her patients.

She is great. She is very professional and helps you out like so many doctors do. She is conscientious and she explains a lot compared to many other doctors. Many doctors want to keep you in the dark about everything but she is very good in every respect.
