    Grayson & Associates PC
The worst costumer service ever!! Asked for an office manager and was asked which one I wanted to speak to. How many office managers are at the Trussville location? No wonder people get put on meds that see this group, your ****** at the world after talking to their worthless receptionists if you can ever get them to answer the phone. I wouldn't recommend these people to someone I hated!!! If you truly have an issue this isn't the place to go. They do not care about you or your problems. Just talking to their smart-*** receptionist will make you upset before you even get there.

Horrible! Very Rude, angry man who will talk over you and down to you! Cannot believe this is his profession!

    Drs Bowen & Kowalski Llp
Dr Kowalski really helped. He is always on lookout for new approaches, With case as difficult as mine, somebody else (like my prior doc) would have given up long time ago. Dr Kowalski keeps fighting for me, and that gives me hope. One day we will find that perfect combination of meds that can make me sleep like a normal person. He's really good with medications and very thoughtful with his approach. He also doesn't push his opinion on you, he just suggests, usually a couple of different things so I can choose. He really works with your personal physiology - not "one drug fits all" and understand how differently we all react to the same med. So far what we tried would bring some relief for a few weeks and then things would go worse again, so we are still searching for the right combination of meds that would allow me to have my life back. He talks to me on the phone between the sessions when we want to readjust the meds and doesn't charge for that. He is a very kind man, and I' glad that I found him.

See above -- staff is friendly as is Dr. All the patients in the waiting room were happy with him. You wait a while because he takes his time with each patient which is how it should be.

They have psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers. They are fantastic. They have a whole bunch of people and they work with families, children, and couples. I like the social worker Peter Gross and the psychologist Dr. Libby Robbins. Peter Gross works with couples and families and Dr. Robbins works mainly with children. Dr. Paggi is a fantastic psychiatrist; we work with her for medication. I trust her in terms of medication more than some other doctors in other fields. She is really up on side effects and she really knows what she's doing. She's also very cool about it. They do personal psychology and they really support you. If you have a special needs child, you can work with Peter Gross on the marriage issues. Special needs children are very hard on a marriage. He can really help with that; he knows what to do. I use Child and Family Counseling for all my needs. They also have a salt water tank in their office.

    Drs Bowen & Kowalski Llp
My problem with Dr. Bowen is that she does not take insurance. I was unable to use my insurance anyway because of preexistings, so I paid her out of pocket -- OUCH!!! Now that I am covered (and quot;Obamacareand quot;), I am looking for a female psychiatrist who does take insurance. Dr. Bowen listens carefully, asks good questions, and most importantly, did not change my medications. I have taken the same meds for bipolar 1 for years, and have remained stable. Even though I was experiencing some mood swings due to my move and big losses, she believed me when I said they were nothing compared to when I wasn't stable before my current medication regime. I have seen MANY psychiatrists over the years -- I have quite the history - and it is obvious to me that Dr. Bowen knows medications and supplements. The latter is unusual. She even suggested a natural form of vitamin B. I would have preferred not to have 50 minute sessions because I was paying out of pocket, but with my history, I understood. Other than the insurance problem, my only issue was that I held things back from her because I felt she might be judgmental, and I didn't want to fool with that. But I recommend her highly if you don't need to be covered by insurance.

I have been seeing provider for years after receiving treatment from a few other doctors previously. He is a relaxed friendly guy and listens. He is the first one to actually answer my questions. I am being treated for anxiety issues caused by multiple stressors. While meds do aid especially with sleep issues he fully understand meds alone are not the answer. He takes time and that seems to be a rarity based on my previous experience. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff incredibly nice.

She is outstanding. She listens very carefully to what you have to say and she keeps up on current research. She cares for her patience and she is truly one of the best doctors I have ever had.

Dr. Siegel is wonderful. She is incredibly caring and has a very calming manner. She listens and communicates wonderfully, which makes meeting with her so easy and comfortable. She is truly concerned with your well-being and is so positive and encouraging. Her office is also very relaxing and the staff is always friendly. I will continue to see her and highly recommend her.

    Siegel, Dr. Stacy L.
She's wonderful. She's very proactive. She's just been really great. She's just really, really good. Instead of just sitting around and writing a script or something, she's interested in getting me well. She conducts psychotherapy in addition to managing medicines. I text her and email her, too. She's great in communication. The office environment is non threatening. I like the magazine selection. She does have patients that will run over time section but I run over mine, too. She won't cut me off. Her staff is good, too. She gives me a hug before we leave. I recommend her to anybody I see.
