When she had finished everything she could do, she sent us to a medical center. She did a great job.

He is extremely patient and very caring about his patients. He is diligent and very thorough. There is one down side and that is he is extremely popular as a neurologist because he specializes in multiple sclerosis; so your wait time can be two to three hours, but it is worth it.

He is very knowledgeable and seems to care about his patients. He takes time to make you feel comfortable. He stays up on current issues. He deals with a lot of MS patients.

They are extremely good physicians.  They are very oriented towards helping patients.  Most people that have neurological conditions have multiple problems so these doctors end up having general practice too because of their patients.  My husband has Parkinson’s disease but they also deal with patients who have had strokes, multiple sclerosis or anything that is neurologically connected.  They are very knowledgeable and they take time to explain things because most of the conditions they deal with are complicated; they have the ability to break it down into lay man’s terms.  They are very good at monitoring the medications and the effect that the medicines have on the patients.  If the patients need any change they are very quick to respond to that and they change it if it is necessary.  Sometimes they get a little backed up if one of the doctors has an emergency/has to be out.  It is occasionally that the wait time can get a little bit longer but most of the time we are in within ten minutes of our wait from our appointment time which is not really too bad.  They are always very available.  Like most groups, the doctors take calls certain nights of the week or sometimes they’ll be on call for a week and then they get a week off.  There are three doctors in the group but somebody is always available.  Each doctor knows about the other doctor’s patients.  When we have to get in touch with one of them when our specific doctor is not on call, the other doctors already know about us so they are basically able to fill in; they don’t leave a gap there because they don’t know us.  Their office staff is very competent, always very helpful.  They always try to work with us in making appointments.  Once we had a really long wait but that is the only time that it happened.  It was when one of the doctors was sick, the other one was out of town and one doctor was trying to cover everybody’s patients the same day.  We have never had any problem with the billing and administration.

    Brockington, Dr. John C.
Dr. John Brockington treats me for severe migraine syndrome. I have more than twenty migraines a month and Fibromyalgia so I have severe pain issues. Dr. John Brockington has worked with me very well in adjusting my medications. He has been very willing to listen to me. That’s my number one criteria. He makes sure that he prescribes only the medication that works for me. He has excellent bedside manners. His availability is very limited. He has a very big practice and one has to schedule appointments in advance. If there is a problem or an emergency they try to work me in. For new patients, it will be a long wait in getting in to see him. I would continue to see him in the future.

    Nasrollah Eslami MD
It is difficult to find a good neurologist. Dr. Elami is excellent. He was very open to listening to me regarding my conditions and making adjustments as needed. He is not an arrogant, dismissive or pushy doctor as is so often the case. Dr. Eslami takes time with me to understand my overall situation and give good advice. His weeks are split between two locations, however, and two days a week are spent in Bessemer where I can go. He will do cranial injections to handle acute migraines and once when I needed it he was able to work me in to address an incredibly bad migraine I had in progress. I'm not aware of any other doctors in the state who will do that injection procedure. It hurts like heck, but beats a migraine any day. Seizure disorders can be very difficult to treat and he was willing to spend time and attention to get my treatment as good as possible.

His specialty is multiple sclerosis. You won't find anybody better than Dr. Laganke. If you get in to see him, you will be taken care of. Once you get to be his patient, you have access to him. The office is great. There might be an emergency, which will take him away, but we don't wait most of the time. We will see him forever, or as long as he's in the practice.

He really listens to my concerns. He formulates a plan to take care of them along with a backup plan if that does not work. I would use him again in the future.

    DeWolfe, Dr. Jennifer L.
Dr. DeWolfe, scheduled a MRI to see if there were any changes in my brain scan that could be affecting my swallowing pattern. There were no changes and she referred me to my Primary Care Doctor who scheduled a swallowing scan with a camera. I am waiting for the results. I have been seeing Dr. DeWolfe since 2007. She has always been interested in what I have to say. She is very professional in every way. I will refer others to her.
