Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Mobile

They told us how much it would be if a) needed new tank or b) just needed new field lines. They came when they said they would & did exactly what was needed in just 4 hours time. They were neat and professional and told my husband exactly what we should expect and how to keep our new tank out of trouble in the future. My husband was EXTREMELY impressed, and he doesn't impress easily.

Hired them to install a new field line to my home septic tank in April 2016. During the installation, they fully cut a sewage pipe that ran from the house into the septic tank, leaving sewage to discharge directly into the ground. I discovered this mistake a week later when I found sewage gurgling up into my yard. When I contacted them, they said they'd fix their mistake for an additional $1000. Needless to say, I fired them. I can provide photos to show their mistake if anyone would like proof. Bottom line, use someone else.

Owner came over soon after that, didn't look at lid, just went with what his employee told him. You would think he would want to see for his self. Obviously his employee was not experienced in this kind of work. We had another company come out because we were told what they were charging for a lid was outrageous. The other company came out, scraped off some dirt and to our surprise, we didn't need a new lid, the so called crack was where the two lids were not butted up close to each other. Once he shoveled off all the dirt, we could clearly see we did not need to spend all that money on a new lid.

Showed up in the time frame we were told. Explained things in detail about how the septic tank works. I actually called them because another company told us we had a cracked lid and it needed replaced. He came out on a Friday to check it out, he scraped off a small area and seen the so called crack. He told us the lid was not cracked, it was how the lids were made. We had two small lids and they were not butted up close together. He definitely saved us a bundle of money. Goes to show, have to be careful with whom you do business with. I feel he was very honest and reasonable. This is our first time of owning a home with a septic tank, so we were very happy with the way he explained things to us. We will continue to use this company in the future when or if needed.

We have been living in this house for a little over a year, which means we don't know anything about the septic tank the former owner built in. It started to back up in to the shower about a month ago, so we hire some other company to pump it out. At that time, I searched online and there were some suggestion about we might have a filter which needs cleaning according to the year of the house. Therefore, when the other company was pumping we asked if we have a filter and we would like to pay extra to get it cleaned. They for sure told me that ours is an old system which does not have a filter. Of course, after the pumping, everything seems good, but they did say if it started to back up again in about 1-2 week, it is probably the field line's problem...After about 2 weeks, it started to back up again. We call the same company and they came over and inspected (LOOKED), and said we need to replace the field line, which cost 2500-3500 and it is going to be a huge mess in the back yard. I just felt so sick for a few days. But this is a relevantly newer house. I just don't believe there is such a big problem. I decided to sign up on here and find another good septic tank service to double check. This time I used BILLY'S. When we called him and told him the year of the house, she seems pretty sure there is a filter in it. The next day, he came over to our house on time and did a REAL INSPECTION, and guess what, there IS a filter. AND when he pulled the filter out, the standing water just went way done and to the level it suppose to be. Then he cleaned filter and said PROBLEM SLOVED. Totally cost 100 dollars!!! Thanks BILLY'S, there is still honest people out there!!!

Arrived on time and did exactly what he had promised. There was no problems with any of the functioning parts of the system so he pumped it out and replaced all dirt that had to be disturbed so well that when the lawn was mowed there was no lumps or bumps that had to be fixed - it was completely flat. I will definitely use them again.

They are professional and I have had really good luck with them.  They do a good job. I first called them a couple of years ago. They did not charge for me the service call because it was something they could  discuss with me and no work was required. They told me to call them if I needed anything in the future.  I called them the next time I needed work.  I was happy with their service.

We thought by listening and taking the advice of the septic worker we were doing the right thing. Actually we were taken for an extra $500. I called the owner of the company and he said that no refund was going to be given. He understand why I was upset and had already let that worker go. He said if I ever needed my septic tank pumped again they would do it for free. Well, I never plan to let them work on my tank ever again. Terrible experience!

The workers were wonderful. They were very helpful and they were really good to me. We had a much bigger problem and they helped us fix what they could with what we had. They were not the cheapest, but they were reasonable. It took them all day to come out and I had to call twice.
