    I cannot say enough good things about this company. When my water heater sprang a leak, I went to Angie's List to try and find someone to come out ASAP as everything in my garage was getting wet. I called the first company listed and they were nice so I arranged for a visit between 12 and 4. While I was on the phone with them, Stark Services called and left a message. And then they sent me a text. About fifteen minutes later, someone else from Stark Services called and said they could get to me in thirty minutes. Sold! I canceled the other call. The repairman got to my house in thirty minutes and had everything fixed in about ten. He also charged me less than he quoted! I will definitely call them for any other plumbing or gas work I need.

    Sorry about the length, but I want you to reconsider if you're thinking about calling Mr. Rooter. Of course, you may get lucky and get a good plumber. When a repairman came out from Mr. Appliance to fix our dishwasher--I'll give him an A--I asked him about a problem with a pipe under the sink and the fact that our faucet ran after we turned it off. He fixed the dishwasher but wasn't equipped to fix the other plumbing problems, so he asked his office to get in touch with a plumber. Someone there called Mr. Rooter. Two plumbers arrived at my doorstep that afternoon. I was pleased with their promptness, but I soon realized promptness doesn���t matter in the face of incompetency. To their credit, I do think they fixed the potential pipe problem under the sink���although time will tell. During their visit, they whispered a lot, so I went to see what was happening. I was shocked to find my disposal on the floor. One of them had dropped a screw down the drain and when he went to get it out, he tore a gasket that had to be replaced. They dropped the screw again. I, with great exasperation, told them to put something over the drain so it wouldn't happen again. And then they went to work on the handle, saying the problem was in a cartridge. More whispering. I don't know why, how, or what happened to the screw, but they left the handle without it, and it lifted right off. Even though I told them that they should pay me the $85 service call fee instead of vice versa, I paid. While one of them was taking care of my credit card, the other called me over to say he could fix it for another $30 or so. I got the opinion he was trying to do this without the owner's knowledge. He was whispering to me while chewing gum, though, so I don't really know what he was saying. So the next day, I called the owner, Gerald. He very responsibly came over to check the situation and promised me he���d send his best plumber over, and there���d be no additional charge. The ���expert��� came the next day and was very friendly, and I had high hopes that the problem would be solved. He was there off and on from 9:30-2:30 with no solution in sight. First, he left to get the right tool; then, he was stymied because the base of the handle wouldn't budge. He ultimately sprayed WD40 and, after removing it, left to find a cartridge. Finally, he returned but had to leave again to get the CORRECT cartridge. At the end of the day, he decided it was unfixable and I needed a new faucet. Remember: the faucet had not been broken originally; water had simply continued to run after the faucet was turned off. I didn't see a choice; I bought a faucet for $207. The next day, the original plumber and another plumber returned to install the new faucet. They had to leave to find an extension for under the sink; I didn���t understand that because it was a standard faucet set, and my sink is standard, too. At any rate, they finished the project and told me it was fixed. But was it really? No. It���s true they installed the new faucet. But it had the same exact problem that I wanted fixed in the first place: water continued to run after I turned it off--plus this time the water force was lessened. Insult to injury was that the two of them tried to convince the little lady that that's the way new faucets work. So I called Gerald again. He disagreed with his plumbers' assessment and told me that he'd come out to look at it. He didn't. I called again, and he didn't call me back. I don't want to write a negative review, but I feel I don't have any choice. I wasn't charged any additional amount past the $85, although the plumber had suggested I owe $175 for the installation of the new faucet (despite it being entirely the fault of Mr. Rooter; fortunately, he didn't pursue that). I paid $207 for an entirely new faucet that I wouldn't have had to get if it weren't for one or three plumbers, though, and that bothers me.

    Nick & his team were professional, courteous, punctual ,professional, work done completely better then I ever imagined. The work was explained in full & made easy to understand by Nick .I had several estimates they were not the lowest but I���m so happy I choose them . They called every-time to make sure my dogs were not in yard as I requested. They kept my yard clean every day . I would highly recommend they do fantastic work.I would gladly show my crawlspace to anyone interested in hiring them.

    Originally I hired another firm and they could not do any of the things I needed done. Said shower and faucet needed replaced, coffee maker would require ���Major drywall demolition, the one thing they could not help was the space for the cooktop was too small so they couldn���t install that but told me as soon as the space was made bigger ���they���d come right out and do the job.��� They took my $100 fee and actually did nothing. I did not believe their Diagnoses of the other two problems and when I phoned for them to come back they told me it would be 2 weeks! ENTER SCOTT PLUMBING! I phoned them, a cold call, and explained the whole situation and they had a technician out to my house at 8am the next morning. He installed the cooktop, fixed the shower with a gasket, and the coffeemaker installation. Required a small amount of drywall to be cut out. They then sent their drywall guy and he worked over the weekend, driving 30 minutes each way, to check the taping and drying to insure a seamless repair. After that I hired Scott Plumbing for all my plumbing needs and will continue to do so. They are well trained professionals and deal with you fairly and honestly.

    Called Madison Plumbing because of their online rating. Scheduled someone to come out and give us a quote on installing a whole house filtration system. Waited around all day and the technician was a "no call, no show". Contacted the company who said he ran over on the previous job and scheduled for him to come back out the next day. He showed the next day, but wasn't too sure about best approach for installing our system or how much it would cost, so he said he would need to go back to the office to discuss with his manager and get back to me with the quote. We waited 3 weeks before finally contacting the company again. They apologized and said someone would get back to us with the quote. We never heard from them again. Their administrator/coordinator is very responsive and professional, but there is no active communication and follow-up is non-existent.

    Greenbrier Septic Tank Pumping
    Stacie inspected the yard where the field lines are located and then dug up the ground to gain access to the septic tank lid. He determined the septic tank was fin and that there was a massive clog in the pipe coming from the house. He unlogged the pipe and the problem was fixed. Stacie did not charge me anything for this service. We are going to install new lids in the near future and I will pay Stacie to complete that work. Very professional and knowledgeable I will be calling on Stacie when I have future plumbing issues.

    Received a phone quote but they never showed up to inspect the work area. Since I have not received any other quotes, I have not made a decision on the work. Re-hire would be based on any additional quotes I receive in the coming days.

    My home warranty assigned another ���plumber��� who assessed a crack in sewer line under foundation. He didn���t bring a wetvac even though we shared details of the problem. He told us to call a plumber. Lee company responded and found a pinhole leak in a shower water line as soon as they cut a hole in the wall. They fixed it and my home warranty paid them.
