.Day of surgery I reported to Admitting, this was extremely quick with little or no delays. Again staff friendly and knowledgeable.  In the pre-surgery waiting area, the nurse inserted the IV which would carry all medication needed during and after surgery,  Anyone who came into the cubicle checked and doubled checked my name and what operation I was going to have. I was also met by anesthetist who described what he would do and checked on my allergies etc, finally my surgeon came in and went through what he was going to do once again.  I was first patient for surgery with my Doctor that day.  When I woke up back in the room I was hoarse but that was to be expected.  I did end up having to have an Xray of my lungs during the evening at the bedside to make sure I did not have pneumonia but again, this was dealt with in a speedy and professional manner. Because of the high temperature I was not permitted to leave hospital until the 3rd day. but all in all, the staff made my stay as well as good be expected.  Room and bathroom were clean.

    Spine & Neurosurgery Center
I was sent to the Spine and Nero center for numbness in my arms. As soon as I spoke to the doctor he suggested a test where I was awake as a needle is put into my spine. No, thank you!!!! So, we decided to try physical therapy, also located on the premises, to ease the problem. Everyone was friendly, understanding of missed appointments, and very caring. They were always on time, unless you were not on time. Usually from sign in to see the doctor was five minutes. If you were late the wait could be thirty minutes or longer. How can you blame them when it was your fault any way? All in all a great experience!!!
