    For 3 days in a row Co-part has promised to come and pick up a wrecked vehicle, and the wrecked mini-van is still sitting in front of our house.  It's very discouraging to be told that a company will perform services and then not follow through.

    Estes did a nice job of fixing the problem with our mini van.  They had to order some parts from another location but then repaired the van in a timely fashion and were quite professional.  The van is still working great too.

    Always fabulous experience. I have been going to the for 10 years. The staff is very top notch, friendly and professional. Always look for ways to save the client money, they are honest. Have kept my Toyota running all the way to 280,000 miles. I have referred over 20 people to them and every one of them keeps going back.

    Jerry is extremely nice and helpful.  He doesn't recommend unnecessary repairs especially on older vehicles.  He is also not one of those guys who will take advantage of a woman, quite the opposite in fact.  Everything is done by appointment.  And he is available for consulting before any work is done.

    I have been very pleased with the quality of the trailer and with the sales process.  TrailersPlus had a nice selection from which to choose.  The sales staff was professional and provided pros/cons of each trailer.  They were not pushy.  The sales price usually includes two courtesy inspections at any of their locations within the first year; since I did not plan on using the trailer extensively in the first year, the Vendor agreed to honor the two courtesy inspections within the first two years of service -- again, they were very reasonable and accommodating.  I definitely recommend using them.

    Drivng back from a long day trip to north Alabama, my Yukon died on Hwy 280 in the downtown Bimirngham area. I had recently been ripped off pretty bad by another mechanic and had decided that I would have the AAA tow truck bring it to the dealership to get it fixed and quot;rightand quot;. I was tired of dealing with and quot;independent mechanicsand quot; -- but that is a long story!

    When the tow truck arrived, the driver was willing to take my car to the dealership but highly recommended that we take it to Scott's Auto Repair in Pelham, AL to save some money. It seemed at the time in the back of my mind I had heard someone talking about a place in Pelham at my office so reluctantly I gave in and decided to take a ride with the tow truck driver down to Pelham.

    When we finally arrived WAY after dark, and a bit off the and quot;beaten pathand quot; behind the Blue Water Scuba Diving place, I was uncertain about a couple of things. First, how to find my way out of there since my wife met us up there, and second, was it safe to leave my car in their parking lot and quot;way back thereand quot;.

    I will say that I am SO GLAD that I took the driver's advice. Scott is a refreshing addition to the AAA approved mechanics in the Birmingham area and you would do well to take your car there. They don't have a bunch of mechanics and a huge garage, but what they do have is INTEGRITY, HONESTY, and HONOR!

    Scott called to discuss the issue and I agreed to let him fix the vehicle. He was practically apologetic about how much the part cost for my particular vehicle but it was 11 years old and I expected to have some cost so it was fine and worked like a charm when he finished.

    When I drove our Durango over there to pick up the Yukon, I talked to him for a while... he is VERY friendly and helpful, and I mentioned that the A/C in the Durango didn't seem to be working properly. I know most repair centers would have charged a $75-100 diagnotic fee, but he went and grabbed his hoses and guages, hooked them up while we were out in the parking lot, and told me that it was apparent that it was a bad compressor.

    I left the Durango there (since I could only drive one at a time) in the parking lot and asked him if he would work up a quote for the A/C compressor. He called me later that day and said that a new compressor would be $xyz and would be guaranteed for x number of miles, but because my Durango was older and I was considering a trade-in, he ALSO told me that he could get a used/reconditioned compressor installed for about $400 less. I HAVE NEVER EVER had an auto repair facility tell me there was a less expensive option... EVER!!! I really didn't have the money to spend on it at that time so I eventually went down there to pick it up.

    I will definitely use Scott again, I wish I had not waited so long to report on his work as he did a very good job and was very reasonable.

    I was driving our Yukon to work after dropping off my son at school when all of a sudden, it started surging and struggling to stay alive! I stopped and looked a the fluid levels and everything seemed OK, and teh temp guages were normal so I started the car and drove it to a very close by Express Oil Change.

    After a few hours, I got a call from Express Oil Change with the person on the other end telling me that my Yukon, 2002 model with 194,000 miles, needed a new engine. The engine had seized while they were looking at it! I drove the car there so I still am not sure how that happened but due to a very postive experience with Scott's Auto Repair a month or two earlier, I called Scott and asked if they could give me a second opinion. I had AAA come to Express Oil Change and pick up the Yukon with the key and just drop it off at Scott's.

    After a while, they said they had it running a bit but that it seized again and would not turn over at all so the engine replacement was the next step. I had just sunk a bunch of money into the Yukon (mostly at another repair center unfortunately) but I did ask for a quote anyway. Scott found a new engine that could be put in for around $ x,xxx that would have a certain several year warranty, but he also wen to the trouble of finding a much less expensive reconditioned engine that could be put it for a good bit less. After all the mony I had recently spent on the Yukon trying to keep it going, I decided that I would not fix it, rather I posted it on Craigslist for and quot;spare partsand quot; (my first posting there).

    I had quite a bit of interest in the Yukon within hours of the posting and after trading emails with a few, I made a commitment to one person but really had no way to get the Yukon from Scott's so it stayed in his parking lot for a week or two while I was going through that decision making process. When the potential buyer wanted to check the vehicle, I told him where it was and called Scott to let him know someone would come by to look at it and would need the key to check it out.

    Scott not only let him have the key to look at it but took the time to discuss the vehicle for about 30 minutes as to what was wrong and what would be needed! The buyer came by my house to pay me the following Saturday and then without me ever having to go back to Scott's, he/they picked up the vehicle and took ownership.

    I post this story because I want the WORLD to know what kind of person Scott is. Not only is he honest but he tries to work within your budget and is willing to go well above and beyond the normal call of duty to help you out. He had no interetest or anything to gain by helping with with the sale of my dead vehicle, but he was more than willing to help out.

    When I went to pay not knowing what the charge would be, the mechanic that had checked it explained what he had done, what was wrong with the Yukon and said, and quot;I probably only worked on it about a half an hour so I guess the total will be about $50and quot; or soemthing like that.

    As many repair places as I have been with my older high mileage vehicles, there are NONE that match Scott's integrity. Take your car there... you will enjoy getting to know him! He even showed my son his Jeep that he had fixed up to take to the mountains that weekend!! Very personable and professional.
