ANorth Alabama BuildersI did get estimates before hiring them. One company wanted over $11,000.00, yes, I did say $11,000.00 to SCREEN it in. The cost with North Alabama Builders was around $3200.00 including labor. They arrived promptly, did their job (it took 2 days),cleaned up after themselves, and produced a lovely room. ANorth Alabama BuildersI didn't go with North Alabama Builders. Their cost was too high. I did get a quote from them. His bid was too high on the roof although it was kind of mid range. The rest of it was not too bad. Again I decided to make a project out of this for the people. I am doing a whole lot more. I am doing windows. I got one company that is doing it all. So I let a deal with one person than other things. North Alabama Builders didn't have a rating from Angie's List, I couldn't find them. They did give me a bid. If I was painting the house and doing gutters that would have been fine. Their bid wasn't too bad but it was just that it was a little bit high, the roofing part of it was too high. The bid was broken down by projects because I had several projects. The roof was 14004 dollars, the roof. The insurance company said it was 12027 dollars. They exceeded the insurance company's estimate or what they are willing to pay me. On the rest of the work which included painting, new gutters, rebuilding a porch for me, doing my deck was 7500 dollars. Their bidding on the rest of the work was not bad. It was fair. It was comparable to what the other company were. The roof was too high. They seemed professional. Everybody that I talked to was courteous and professional. The North Alabama guys were courteous and professional. The lowest bid on the roof was slightly lower than what the insurance company was. That's the company I went with. His instincts on color and material selection were excellent. The work carried out on our home was completed within a reasonable amount of time and the quality of the work was superior. The one that they submitted wasn't the cheapest, but I thought that they would be reliable, based on their reputation. They are expensive but professional. Great care was taken by the engineer to assess our project and to bring it to the best of all solutions for us! Jerry Mashburn and his team were the finest workmen and most efficient folks we have ever been associated with and I would highly recommend them for any project. Jerry took great care to check with me on details I would not even have thought of! They were punctual and did clean-up every day. When the entire project was finished, Jerry gave me pointers on how the windows worked and assured me if there were any issues, they would take care of them. FI found McMunn on Angie's List. I called and Roger and Josh came to our house and we discussed a bathroom remodel and replacing the roof. Their bathroom estimate was the lowest and felt confident for them to do the work. The bathroom cost a little over $10,000 and the roof a little over $10,000. There were some delays for the roof because of weather. The bathroom remodel took longer than estimated. There was a problem with the toilet leaking a few months after the work. I called Josh and he had the plumbers come over and fix the problem. They left the toilet without caulking and placed these little pieces to level the toilet. It looked terrible. A while later I noticed another small leak. I called Josh before the holidays and he explained that they were very busy and I agreed to wait until after the holidays to have the plumbers look at the toilet. No phone call after January. Josh's mailbox was full, Roger's mailbox was full. I emailed. Roger said that "they are changing phone services" and will have Josh call. Josh promised that he would call the next Monday. February 11, still no phone call. Josh's mailbox is full. I called Roger and he answered his phone and again said that "they are changing phone services" and he would have Josh call. Today, February 17, still no phone call. Thank you Roger and Josh for taking over $20,000 from retirees and not honoring your guaranty. We will look for another plumber and contractor for the additional work that needs to be done.

AI had a number of different contractors provide an estimate and chose C&K because of their professionalism and the level of detail provided in the estimate. Roof was installed a little over 2 weeks after signing the contract. Workers showed up on time, were polite, and completed the job quickly and thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

APro Building handled my niece's insurance claim. She had severe water damage to her house from a HVAC unit malfunction. I referred them to Pro Building because they did work for me before and did a great job for me. Pro Building and their exceptional team came in and not only dried out the property but also moved them out and put them into temporary housing (billed the carrier-not my niece). They took care of everything with the carrier and were able to get everything paid for with them only owing their deductible ($1,000). When I tell you this house turned out incredible, I mean it! They did such a great job! They went above and beyond to help in every way! 10/10 would refer them to anyone needing any kind of insurance claim!

AThe replaced my old heat pump, put in a new pad, repaired some insulation around the ductwork around the house, and even put mulch around the new pad. All for the original estimate give, all included. (I had another company come by and give me an estimate and they quoted $11,000 to $12,000, saying I needed new ductwork, which I didnt.).
