    Dr Keel & Associates Healthcare
Dr. Keel is a great doctor!  I credit him with sending my husband to the hospital when he had a blockage in his heart that needed a stent even though his symptoms did not seem critical at the time.  He has also monitored and prescribed meds for blood pressure, hypothyroid, cholesterol, etc. |He also gave my daughter iv fluids/meds in the office several evenings when she was a college freshman because she was so sick--but just COULDN'T miss classes. With her, he has treated everything from mono to sinus infections to athletes foot from cheerleader camp. |He has "stitched" my son, monitored his blood pressure, taken care of a fracture, and treated every illness he has had since he was too old for a pediatrician. |With my own health issues, he has treated sinus and allergy issues two or three times a year for the past decade, treated bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.  He has referred me to other doctors after MRIs when issues were beyond his scope--a neurologist, an orthopedic surgeon, an ENT. | |The only down side to his offices is that he also has other doctors--who seem to come and go frequently.  Fortunately, most of them are also great doctors (only one bad experience in 13 years).

I had to wait for the appointment for three weeks. I came in and sat down. Doctor Wren was on time. She was very thorough, very upbeat and actually listened to me! She was able to talk to me about more than one problem I'm having. She sat down and asked me lots of questions and gave me a good plan for care. I'm very excited to have found such a great doctor. The staff at the front desk were a little short with me. They wanted me to find out information for them that they could have found on their own. They weren't very patient or friendly. But, it was all worth it just to see Dr. Wren because she's one of the few doctors I've met who really listened and seemed to want to find a good solution for my problems instead of just throwing some motrin at me and running out to see her next patient. I'm definitely going to see her again.

I had a great pregnancy and great treatment by Dr. Young and his staff. The wait was never long in the office and the staff were all super nice. I couldn't imagine using another doctor. Dr. Young takes the time to talk to you, listen to you, and explain everything. I never felt rushed or ignored.

I made an appointment for my husband, and one was available rather quickly. Unfortunately, when he arrived for the appointment, he waited two hours without any indication that he would be able to see the physician anytime soon. When he inquired about the lengthy wait, he was told that the doctor was careful and thorough, and even though appointments were scheduled fifteen minutes apart, the doctor usually took much longer with his patients. My husband could wait no longer that day since he had other appointments of his own that demanded his attention. He rescheduled for a week later, only to leave after another very lengthy wait. We had heard good reports about this physician, and really wanted to be established with this practice. Regrettably, there appears to be a serious scheduling problem with the office management. We very much support physicians' attentiveness, and deplore the and quot;assembly lineand quot; mentality that has become so much a part of modern medical pracitice; however, this quality attention demands time, and should be scheduled appropriately. Every reasonable person recognizes that emergencies happen, and that schedules have to be changed, but when this becomes the rule rather than the exception there is a managment problem. We are disappointed, and regret the situation.

I felt violated and upset. The doctor, if he even found out what happened, decided not to call me and get my side of the story. So, if he cares that little he should change his mission statement. I have been seeing this doctor for several years. Up until yesterday was pleased with the care, however, I will not be back.

I've been using him since 2005. I go to him for preventative maintenance. He is very professional and very good at what he does. He has performed surgery on me. He told me what was going to happen and that he was not going to let me hurt. He asked me to see him when I ran out of pain medications. He kept his word. He did not let me get hurt. I would recommend him to anybody that needs a urologist.

I'd been going to Dr. Young for years, and when my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for over a year with no success, I made an appointment.  After some testing, I was diagnosed and treated for an issue that was causing my fertility problems.  After about 8 months, I finally got pregnant.  Toward the end of my pregnancy, I started having problems with high blood pressure and sudden excessive weight gain.  We ended up inducing at 37.5 weeks, and the induction ended with an emergency c-section.  I was scared out of my mind, and Dr. Young was so reassuring and made me feel comfortable.  He even talked to our families and explained what was happening, reassuring them as well.  He explained everything as it was happening, and brought our precious, healthy little boy into the world with no complications.

I admit to not being the easiest patient as I have little patience for waiting and being rushed. He is not only completely thorough, but completely understanding of my reluctance of doctor's in general. Either himself personally or his nurse follows up within a few days to make sure we are doing well and if we need anything. He is truly the only doctor I trust now, and I have been thru many doctor's in the Anniston, Jacksonville area. His nurse is kind, and his receptionist, Donna, is also kind and very professional. I am never kept waiting more than 15 minutes before I am brought back. Donna always asks if I would like the remote to the TV in the waiting room. The only suggestion I would have is better magazines...LoL.

I have endometriosis and he has been wonderful in treating it. I have been having problems due to the endometriosis and he gave me several options to choose from. He told me what he thought would be best and let me choose what I wanted to do. The treatment plan I chose has been working great. I know several other women that go to him and all have the highest praise for him.

    Verma, Dr. Kewal K
I was able to get an appointment at Dr. Verma's office very quickly, and once I arrived, I spent very little time waiting to see him. He spent almost an hour examining me and talking to me about what could be wrong, what to expect if I did need surgery, and what to expect during my recovery. I really appreciated all the time he spent with me and the quickness he could see me.
