    My husband and I bought a Toro push mower there a few years ago. He didn't like the sound of the engine. Sounded like the valves were tapping. Took it back... they said that it was normal. OK. They also said that the engine was running slow, so they "fixed" it. Fast forward to last week... the engine stops running because their "fix" was to bend the governor spring into a pretzel to set the engine speed, and it finally popped off. He took the mower back... They would put him in their service queue, which is 2 weeks. So he said just give him the spring, and he'd do it himself. They charged him for it. So... their screw up cost him time off from work, and then they won't stand behind their work. He had several other items on his shopping list, but we won't be buying them there. We won't be buying anything there ever again.

    The work went great. It took them a few days to get to it but they had told me to expect that. They called with a price prior to beginning work and I was able to get my mower fairly quickly after that. I was happy with the work so I then took in my little DR Trimmer Mower. That was beyond fixing (cheaper to buy a new one) so I ended up buying a new trimmer/mower from them. Before I left with it, they put in oil and gas and made sure it would start. They also went over the operation of the unit. I was pleased by the level of service received during both visits.

    I was having problems starting my generator.  By the time Ron came by, (a couple of days after I called) the problem had cleared and the generator was running (like 10 minutes before he arrived).

    Ron checked the generator out and offered good advice on keeping the generator in a ready state.  Since he was already here I had him check out my lawnmower.  He did a complete PM, oil, sharpen blade, airfilter, etc.

    Total price...$50! 

    Great guy...knows his stuff.  I would use Ron's again in a heartbeat!.

    I was greeted and waited on as soon as I walked in the door. The guy at the counter was honest and apologetic for the backlog and understood when I decided not to wait. I get them the model number of my mower and they sold me the correct filter.

    Fixed clogged fuel line in pressure washer. Buddy's really came through on this. Repaired in one day (even thought they were pretty busy) and called us to let us know it was ready... in time for us to use prior to house showing the following day. Also were great about explaining what we could do to minimize likelihood of problem again.

    It hasn't gone as yet, still waiting and tired of borrowing mowers to get our lawn taken care of. I know they are busy a lot with the mowing services that DO use them for their myriad of repairs and such, but to just take in a walk behind and wait this long is kind of annoying. I have taken in this Toro of ours for every repair needed for the past 3 years, glad it never needed anything much in the way other than routine maintenance and sometimes cable replacement. If not hearing from them by Friday 8/23, am going back there to fetch our mower and find someone else hopefully that can take care of this mower. Hate to yelp about it knowing they are busy, but my goodness, a little professionalism to call a customer and keep them apprised, rather we having to call them?They work as hard as they can I know, and are seriously understaffed at the front desk. You do have to wait a long time on hold when you do call, and you do have to wait a goodly time at the front to get your service order attended to. They DO good (excellent) work at a very good price, if you can wait for their service, and be patient, which is evident I am not after over 2 weeks waiting for even for a diagnosis on my mower's condition and repairability. I'd be tickled to death if they could call and let us know, that way I could either buy another mower or move on...and hating to have to hire out or borrow mowers from family and friends.,

    The work was done quickly and to my surprise the repair cost much less than I had expected. The gentleman at Buddy's was professional and courteous and I will definitely use them the next time I need work done on any of my small engine equipment.

    I had a Craftsman edger which had been in storage and would not start. Carried it to Buddy's, they suggested a "service" rather than just a carb repair and indicated that the labor cost would be about the same for either. They said thye would have it done within a week. The service included changing the oil, sparkplug, air and oil filters, and blade. They also corrected the carb problem. The work was completed in three days at a cost of $85, I had anticipated a cost of @ $125. Good work, fair price, timely service.

    When we called Sears to submit our request for service, they asked what the problem was so they could bring out some likely repair parts when they showed up.  They came out to our home, on time, and tried several different things, finally replacing the entire carburator which fixed the problem.  Without the service agreement, it would have cost us more than $300.  In short, we made up the cost of our 3 year house-call service agreement with this first service.  Score!
