This is the second time we've hired Provider name locked. (EES) to work on our house; the first was to move some air ducts that ran through the middle of the room. By far the cheapest bid we received; in fact, we were turned down by some larger outfits b/c the jobs were "too small" for them (one of them also recommended EES). He worked a 12 hour day to replace all the gas lines in our house and pressurize the system overnight so it would be ready to pass inspection the following morning, without complaint. Very hard working guy, not super talkative but great work. Highly recommended.

When our Heat & Glow fireplace stopped working two years ago, I called Fireside Distributors where the set was purchased from. They sent out someone who said our remote was defective and no longer made by Heat & Glo. We were offered 10% off a new log set. How could someone stop making a remote for a fireplace that was just barely three years old? Emails to the the manufacturer (Heat & Glo) sent us back to the local distributor.
A friend recommended Provider name locked. who installed her fireplace set (purchased through Provider name locked. Natural).
Rod, the technician was able to fix the problem and restart the fireplace--saving us the cost of a new set of logs ($2,500).

In a nutshell, this type of reply (and overall responsiveness) is rude and extremely unprofessional.
It is your job to be available and responsive to your customers and potential customers. It is ok to not be able to do a particular job at a particular time, or not be able to meet a customer's needs, but it is your responsibility to set reasonable expectations. You could have done that last week. You could have put us on the schedule last week, BEFORE your Wednesday got so busy. And if you weren't able to do that, you could have replied at 9am yesterday (after you asked "what time?"), instead of waiting until 8pm. We would have had all day yesterday to seek service from another provider.
And, finally, it is not your business whether we can "live without a range for 24 hours". Again, rude and unprofessional.
I expect there will be an equally rude response to this review, but I'm simply sharing our experience, as I appreciate all other Angie's List members do.
