    My side by side refridgerator was no longer defrosting itself on the freezer side, which caused both the freezer and fridge sides to heat up. Sam was friendly and nice enough to take the time to explain and show me how the freezer not defrosting itself was the cause of everything. I also appreciated Sam being patient and nice enough to wait while I cleaned behind the frudge before he pushed it back in place. His service call fee was already about $25 cheaper than any competitors (also applied that towards the repair). He then gave me a discount on the total bill for being a member of Angie's List. The reason for the $288 total bill was the main control board for the fridge had to be replaced. Sam explained that a couple much cheaper components are typically to blame for defrosting failures. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a fridge repair.

    I had a refrigerator water line break and flood my kitchen. I found Mr. Appliance on Angie's List, called them, and they had Colby out to my house within a couple of hours. Colby was right on time, very professional and knowledgeable and was able to have my complete repair done in a couple of days (he had to order a part). To add icing to the cake the price was reasonable!

    Called on Monday and appointment was made for Wednesday. Johnathan called about 15 mns before appointment time to let me know he was headed my way. When he arrived he was very professional and the price was reasonable. I had a warranty with Sears and called them the same time and they gave me a 10 day wait. Forget Sears. Johnathan is the person!

    Excellent service! We were able to get a next-day appointment. Scheduled online and within 30 minutes, I received a call confirming the appointment and providing a 2-hour window. I received a call on the day of to notify that the technician was on his way. He discovered almost instantly that it was a faulty lid switch. Although the technician did not have a switch on his truck, he left and returned with a new one within 30 minutes. Provided the cost first to allow me to decide if I wanted to continue with the service. Very prompt, professional, and friendly service. I highly recommend and will use again if needed. Forgot to use my Angie's List customer coupon, but still fair pricing.

    We've used them for many years. This man will come out and look at our appliances. He would just take care of all of our appliances not just one at a time. He is able to show you what the problem is. Sometimes he wouldn't charge us until 30 days after fixing it. He is very reasonable. There was one time he couldn't find anything wrong and he wouldn't even let me pay him for coming out.

    He came out and said that it was the compressor. He would have to order one and come back. Never heard from him again. Waited for 2 WEEKS using a cooler. Finally called another repair man AFTER I broke down and spent $3000 on a new refrigerator. New repairman came out and fixed it. Said it was NOT compressor, but just the starter. A $5 fix. Do NOT hire this guy. He's a crook. Cost of his fee and new refrigerator was $3075.00

    I received prompt attention from Lovelady about setting up installation time.  We added on more services like installing a disposal and hooking up a new sink.  Changing out outlets and installing chandelier lights.  They also installed the dishwasher and range.  I found all of the workers very personable and professional.  Went the extra mile to do quality work.

    Apparently the guy came by the house but no one heard him knock. That alone is pretty surprising given that at least two people were there. Regardless, he was definitely late as someone was waiting at the door until his arrival time had passed.
    Anywho, not worth going much deeper here. This is how the follow-up went:
    "You wasted my time. I am finding your kind is becoming more and more defined these days. I left the spark module at your door as a freebie, that is the last freebie you get from me, from a good American citizen."

    Terrific experience with this company!   This was actually my second time to use Al for my repairs. He is prompt, efficient, honest, and reasonable.   I always feel like I am getting good service with Al, as opposed to some others who overcharge and under-perform. I will use him again and again--as well as recommend him to others.
    FYI, apparently he also performs HVAC repair, so he's not limited to refrigerators and appliances. That's something I'll keep in mind the next time my AC goes out.
    If you are having problems with your appliances (particularly the older, non-computerized models), definitely give him a call!

    I contacted Mr. Appliance on 7/6/2015 and a technician came to my house the next day.  The heating element on my Kenmore dryer had gone bad and the technician had the necessary part on his truck and fixed the problem.  I also had a broken wire fixed on a 28 year old Whirlpool double oven. The technician was very professional and friendly and took pride in his work.  This was my first experience with Mr. Appliance and I was very pleased.  I didn't get any other estimates for the job, but I would imagine the $320 to fix these 2 problems would have been similar for other repair companies as well.  I recommend Mr. Appliance and will use them again in the future.
