They covered all planting before starting and each night cleaned the areas where they worked, removing all debris and blowing the cement areas of trash. At the end of the job I found them going through the bushes to make sure any old roof particles were picked up and all nails removed. The job from the ground look flawless and I was extremely pleased with the final results. The contractor also walked us through the insurance process since some of the cost of the project was due to weather damage. I selected a more expense roof than contractor grade, and was given explicit explanation of what my roofing project would entail, what products were used, how they would be laid. Before guttering was replaced, they had a painter paint all areas behind the old guttering, and sold the old copper for me, handing me the check from the recycling center.

    Estes Painting
We were extremely happy with the quality of work of Estes painting as well as the timely manor in which it was done. All painters and carpenters worked non stop from 7-5 every day only stoping for lunch. They finished the extensive work in 6 days. Every evening they cleaned up all materials only leaving their ladders in an area off to the side. From the beginning, the quality was exceptional and I truly did not worry about checking up to make sure it was done right. I felt completely comfortable leaving my house open to them for the day to work on doors while I was at work. The 2 times I mentioned a slight issue, it was taken care of immediately the next day with a wonderful attitude. I am very picky when it comes to painters and I was so happy we chose them. The bid was the highest quote we received, but the work and experience was so worth it! I highly recommend Estes painting!

Mike Estes and his crew tackled a big job at our 1920's tudor and did a great job.  The prep work was significant and his crew worked steadily along over a period of a couple of weeks and got the job done in a very reasonable timeframe.
Kitchen cabinets needed a facelift - and it's amazing how much better they look.now.  The interior rooms were done in just a couple of days and everything looks great.
The exterior took some extra carpentry and masonry work prior to painting - and Mike was able to coordinate all that within his project quote.    New gutters finished the project off beautifully.
As with any big project, there were a couple of weather challenges and minor mishaps along the way, but Mike addressed each and every one promptly and satisfactorily.  He is a true professional and I would (WILL) use Estes Painting again in the future.
Very happy customer here!  Big thanks to Angie's List and to Estes Painting.... ready for spring!

    Lucas Restoration and Remodeling
I'm not sure where to begin. It's rare for me to take the time to write out a negative review, but our experience with Cody and the subcontractors he hired was nothing short of horrendous. We had hired Cody for two projects before and they went relatively smoothly so I'm not sure what precipitated such a drastic change in his demeanor and the quality of his work. The last project we asked him to complete was drywall repair and interior painting of a property we own. He hired out the drywall work which was extremely subpar (to the point we have had to hire it out again to repair the sloppy and unprofessional tape joints and popping screws). He painted the property himself and basically taped off a few areas and just went nuts with the sprayer. He painted the entire property flat (including the trim, which was not what we requested) and did ZERO prep. There were holes in the wall everywhere that he had not speckled or patched, large bumps in the wall and general lack of concern for quality. Again, we have had to hire someone else to correct what he charged us for. Now, we are reasonable people. I am willing to work with people to come to an agreement. When my husband explained that we weren't pleased with the work, Cody's response was not, "I'll fix it"or even, "I disagree" but "Well, I gave you a good price." He was comfortable with an extremely inferior job because he felt he had given us a good price. Indeed, it would have been a good price if we didn't have to pay to have the work done twice. The final straw was that he withheld $400 of pay from his drywall subcontractor who then came to us looking for payment and threatened a mechanics' lien on the property. We are fair, honest businesspeople who don't need that in our lives when we paid Cody in full. Do yourself a favor and RUN, don't walk, from Lucas Restoration and Remodeling.

    SouthFace Renovations LLC.
It was an extensive remodel and was completed on an aggressive timeline and with very little overages (most due to our changes). Our house turned out incredible. The crews were all very professional and very detailed. Our renovation was one that required a high level of custom finish work and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We are certainly going to be using them to complete our guest house and pool house. I can't say enough great things about them.

Came out promptly for estimate, which was very competitive.  Started and finished when they said, did a good job of matching the paint the paint, removed an replaced fixtures as appropriate, cleaned up after.

Johnny had his painters arrive at the time and place he promised.  Each day they would consult with me to insure that everything was to my satisfaction.  Painters  and carpenter were outstanding and very professional.  At the end of there job Johnny and crew did a walk through with me to insure I was happy with the job.  They are worth every penny we spent, as well as the  piece of mind you will have, knowing that they will look out after your welfare.  Johnny served our country in the United States Marine Corps, and is the ultimate professional, Semper FI!

My wife and I were very pleased overall with our experience with Southface Renovations and its owner Johnny DeBlieux. We chose three vendors that were highly rated on Angie's List to provide estimates including Southface. Johnny was very professional during the estimating visit and made us comfortable that the work would be done to our satisfaction. Southface was not the cheapest but we are aware that you get what you pay for. Johnny met with us a second time prior to beginning the job to make sure that we communicated clearly about what we wanted and our expectations.
Communication was always excellent as we drew close to the beginning of the project. Once Johnny's crew started they were always professional, on time, cleanly and responsive. In particular his crew leader, Wes Daniel, was always willing to work with us on site to make sure our expectations were being met. Both my wife and I were very assured that Wes would make sure the job was done well and on time. They completed the work to our satisfaction (we have high standards)  and did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site before leaving. It was our best experience with any contractor and we have had multiple experiences
    We would highly recommend Southface.

Ron and CJ came out right away to give us a quote. They took about two and a half days to do the work, stuck to the quoted price, and did a high-quality job. They also gave some good advice about water control around the house. We appreciated their promptness and professionalism, and we plan to hire them again.
