    Thornton & Booth DMDs
I've used Dr. Thornton for 15 years and always been satisfied.  He gives excellent explanations of dental matters.  He is very gentle, and I am an extremely jumpy person in a dental chair!

He is an excellent family dentist. We've been using him for the last 3 years for my family. His office staff is wonderful and very accommodating. They will do whatever needed to get you in to be seen if you have a problem. The office environment is great. His workmanship is outstanding and he's also an airforce veteran. He has served our country in other ways so it's nice. He's a nice dentist. I would give him A's straight down. I can't think of anything that isn't absolutely excellent about his work with my family. I would continue to use him as long as I have teeth.

I frequented this dentist for several years but had a problem with the way they administer their insurance policies. Basically, they charged my husband too much based on what they accept in insurance from other companies. My husband tried to aleviate the problem but to no avail. When I made my next visit, I was told that I needed to pay my husband's balance. I was very up front that I would not be responsible for his dispute; they would need to handle that with him. I had private insurance; he did not. Then I was told that I had to pay up front an amount which was later discovered to be more than I should have paid according to my insurance benefit. When they had to refund money to me, they deducted what my husband owed from my refund. Odd, isn't it that I was overcharged and that my husband's balance (dispute) was deducted from my refund? I will never use this dentist again!!!

I left a late night message with the answering machine with enough details to make clear that I was in distress. Knowing that the office had Sunday hours (!?!) I had hope.
The office called me at about 10:30 am Sunday - and the staff member told me they could fit me in since it was an emergency - at 12:30 that day. I arrived on time, filled out the forms in ten minutes. There were problems in getting confirmation with my insurance (it was a Sunday, after all), but they told me they would work it out. In another ten minutes I was in a dentist's chair.
The technician who first tended to me was kind and professional. Soon thereafter, the dentist arrived to take a look. He saw the damage was severe - and charged the technician with getting an X-ray to get the evaluation going.
Another technician came to tell me that my insurance was still being a problem, but told me how much they would charge for the day, no matter what (the insurance problem was later resolved - and in every case, the office staff was excellent in easing my worries over this complication).
The prognosis was sketchy at first - the damage to the tooth was severe, but we discussed the options and chose to try a root canal to save the tooth instead of just extraction (which would have made my work very difficult that week). If the root canal was unsuccessful, we'd be looking at more work, later, but I agreed to try this aggressive effort to save the tooth.
More than three hours of work - and the dentist, technicians and other dentists who looked in on this procedure were smart, kind, thoughtful and effective. I was thoroughly impressed, and pleased with the results.
Even if this procedure had not been successful, I would have nothing but praise for this practice.

    CLAIRMONT COSMETIC & FAMILY DENTISTRY
Dr. Pak and his team are very punctual. I am never there for over 30 minutes for a regular checkup. The staff is extremely friendly. I stopped going to the dentist for almost 4 years due to a bad experience at a different firm. Clairmont Cosmetics has completely erased all of my dentist fears.

He is conservative. He won't do something unless it is absolutely necessary. I got him as a second opinion from another dentist to make sure I really needed fillings and he told me I didn't. I've stayed with him ever since. I've never had to wait. I've just never had any problems, he's been great. Best dentist I've ever been to. It's always been courteous and prompt. The people are very cheerful. It's the best experience going to a dentist could be. He's got a great staff, very friendly. Honest guy.

The staff were very pleasant, and I made sure to ask that they worked with my insurance. During that initial visit I was told that I needed 3 fillings. These were my first cavities, ever, and I was a bit skeptical that they actually needed to be filled. I came back two more times to get them filled. I paid my quoted portion at the office. Then I received a bill from the offic saying that I owed more because my insurance company wouldn't cover the rest. Apparently, there are two levels of coverage that my insurance company offers, and I have the lesser. Although I recognize that I should have caught this error, it seems odd that they wouldn't have noticed this as they deal with insurance every day. I won't return to this dentist because of the only partial coverage, but also because I felt a little misled.

    Guillen, Dr. Norman C
Because I have anxiety about dental work I wanted to see how he handled patients prior to visiting him. He is very compassionate. He even called before my appointment to make sure I would be comfortable during my visit. After my first cleaning, I received a lovely card from him to follow up and make sure I enjoyed my time there. It was a very proactive and positive approach by he and his staff. He is just awesome.

He is just wonderful and his staff is great as well. He is very reasonable and will work with you to make sure you get what you need. He's very personable and cares about the patient more than making money.

    Barnes, Dr. Brian
Getting an appointment was easy, the office is a very pleasant office, the hygienist was very thorough and gentle. After she completed her work, Dr. Barnes came in and we discussed going forward. Everyone on his staff was friendly. I will see them in 6 months for my next appointment and have recommended this practice to several other people.
