  • After waiting AN HOUR past the appointment time, I asked reception how much longer before being seen and was told there were 2 patients ahead. It was another 30 minutes before being called back and 10 minutes in the room before seeing the PA then another 15 before the Doctor. As a patient, had I been that late, I would have had a cancelled appointment, of course incurring a no show fee. When the process is completed, I will NOT being using this facility again.

  • My previous PCP moved to Maryland and gave his patients a 1 day notice. Once I found Dr. Taylor my search ended. The practice does include Nurse Practitioners that see patients as well as Dr. Taylor. I have a few problems that need monitoring. I was going to the coumadin clinic and the congestive heart failure clinic at Huntsville Hospital. Dr. Taylors office now monitors both of these. I have had great service every time I go to the office. The staff are all very friendly and caring, I have never had to wait very long. I am very happy with Dr. Taylor and her staff. She is very thorough and takes the time to explain whatever you don't understand and never seems rushed.

  • I like that he is an old school doctor who tells it like it is. He keeps my diabetes in line. He is the kind of doctor I need because he is a tough, no nonsense type of guy. His office could be a bit more organized.

  • I really like him.  It is a friendly environment, they are very genuine, and they work hard to get you in.  He is open from 8-6 or something like that during the week but he also does half days on Saturdays; you can’t beat that.  He does kids and adults.  He has a very good bedside manner and I like the staff.  He is a good country doctor and if he doesn’t think he can handle something he’ll get you to the right person.

  • First I waited two months for an initial appointment. When I made the appointment I was told she and quot;onlyand quot; takes two new patients a day. That would be 80 new patients before I got in... The receptionist agreed with that estimate. I should have foreseen the quality of care considering that growth rate.

Upon arrival, the receptionist looked at me and turned away to completely ignore me. I knocked on the window to get her attention and she proceeded to get a very large attitude. That was totally uncalled for.

At the appointment she took my history. Then she ordered a blood test and left. She never laid a single hand on me. I could have essentially had this appointment via email. The kicker is that I took the day off for this. The claim made to insurance company was that I had a full physical (no way!) and indicated that I had a condition that I most certainly do not have. I spoke to a staff member that informed me that the doctor does her own billing so therefore the insurance company must be wrong. (I don't understand that logic). Then I was told that she didn't examine me because THAT IS A SEPARATE APPOINTMENT. What? Not only is that ridiculous but no one bothered to tell me until this point.

Additionally, my mother has had issues with Dr Adams as well. Doctor ordered blood tests to check for a very serious condition. The results were to arrive on a Wednesday. No one called. Mom called that Thursday, was put on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected. When she called back, the service picked up and told her that the office is closed for the next 5 days. What good doctor would EVER *not* deliver test results on a serious illness, but instead leave for 5 days, leaving the patient scared? Not very compassionate.

About two weeks later Mom called for an antibiotic for a simple ear infection. No one called back. I called about 15 mintues to closing and made it crystal sparkling clear that someone was to call her back immediately. They responded quickly. The prescription called in was not your run-of-the-mill Amoxicillin as any doctor who had not seen the patient would prescribe. It was a $165, uncovered-by-insurarance med that does the same thing!!! Apparently Laura didn't like me making demands of her staff and decided to pull a fast one.

In my opinion she is overloaded and too young to be in practice on her own. She might be great at medicine, I wouldn't know. Apparently, though, she has a few things to learn about people and running a business.

On the bright side, the office was nice.
