AA Family Affair Drywall & Painting CompanyI had an excellent experience with Brian and Faith at A Family Affair Painting and Drywall Company. I first had them paint my new house (1600 sq. ft) after they quoted a very reasonable rate compared to the other painters I interviewed. Brian did beautiful and efficient painting work. I was so pleased with how that turned out that I decided to have them do a full repaint of my old house (walls and trim, 1400 sq ft.) They were also able to quote me for some trim repair and ceiling repair. Throughout the process I came up with a dozen other small additions: exterior pressure washing, painting exterior doors, painting mirrors and ceilings, fixing loose tiles, etc. Family Affair was incredibly flexible and willing to add in these extras at fair prices. Their willingness to deal with an extra 50 emails and questions from me saved me from having to find other contractors and made my project better and faster. I will absolutely use them again in the future.- James L.

He and his crew showed up on time, or would text if there were any changes. Always kept me appraised of the status as he worked in my projects between other jobs so it was done quickly. The shutters needed quite a lot of repair. When rehanging them, he noticed a small defect on one and said it wasn't up to his standards so he took it back to the shop to redo it. I was amazed someone took that much care. Would definitely use again.- K E.

DGuy showed up. He had no ladder to get into my attic, so I supplied one. He wandered around inside and out and then told me they would have to use metal flashing throughout to seal up any place mice could enter...at a cost of close to $4,000. He offered no written estimate (despite the supposed precision of the estimate which was down to the penny.) He seemed to think there was a gap between the roof and the top plate of the walls all the way around of 3 to 4 inches. He said that was the way they built houses back when our house was built. I guess he thought I was stupid and didn't know anything about construction. He was wrong.
