    Valley Heating & Cooling
    The tech from Valley Heating & Cooling came out and said the motor needed to be replaced for ~$1200. Thankfully, my wife remembered that we have a 1 year home warranty since we just bought the house recently. Another tech hired by the warranty company came out to check the unit. He pushed a switch on the unit and the motor started running. That's all he had to do. He told me it was not a very good design, but sometimes the switch gets tripped and you have to reset it. The Valley tech either did not know about this particular model, or was trying to scam me. Hopefully it was just ignorance, but either way, it could have cost me a lot of money.

    Everything went very smoothly. Called Elite Heating and Cooling when we discovered our AC wasn't working. Technician was there within the hour and identified that we needed a new condenser. Within a day he returned and had everything up and running. He also identified some efficiency issues with our ductwork (very old house we are remodeling), and was able to improve the airflow to our entire house. He even took extra time to help me install a Nest thermostat and helped identify an issue with the internal air handler, a couple of tasks that were above and beyond what we originally discussed. The quick response and quality of work was excellent, and I will be using him for all my HVAC issues going forward, as well as recommending to my friends/family.

    When I called them and told them that it's not working they told me that they were busy and to call someone else. So I called someone else and they told me that G & L had not fixed the AC and that it was leaking freon. G&L did not come in the house to check the thermostat before he left. My husband and I replaced the thermostat because we thought that was what the problem was. After the thermostat was replaced the ac unit was still not working properly. In addition to the $1200 I paid G & L we had to pay $50 for the thermostat and still didn't have any heat in the house

    Great overall ...only thing I would recommend for them is to carry a small
    vacuum when doing vent screening ..but not bad wouldn't not yse them again

    The technician arrived when he was expected.  He checked and cleaned my unit.

    Demonia's Heating and Cooling
    First of all - DO NOT USE BILL DEMONIA!!  It was a costly disaster!!

    They installed the unit in one day and everything seemed OK.  It didn't seem to cool our upstairs as well as I expected but I wrote it off to the fact that heat rises.  About a year or two later, the unit quit cooling.  They had included a service warranty so we called them.  After approximately 7 service calls, the unit still wasn't cooling.  We then gave up on them and called another company that services Rheem.  They went up in the attic (which I had never done due to the tight fit) and said it looked like a nightmare up there.  They took pictures and showed us.  There was trash everywhere, one duct wasn't connected completely so we were cooling and heating the attic!  They didn't remove the old coils.  They didn't replace the lines from the outside portion of the unit to the upstairs portion even though we upped the size of the unit, so the lines were undersized.  The new guys did some quick fixes to last us for a while then we paid them $2,000 to basically tear out the unit and reinstall it.  The new guys were honest and efficient.  Our unit heats and cools perfectly now.

    Again, do not use Demonia Heating and Cooling.  Use anyone but them.
