    I love everything about them.  My grandson is a special needs, medically challenged child.  They have never let me down on anything on him.  They are always there.  They are open seven days a week and that helps too.

    Dr. Morris is our regular pediatrician and has been seeing our [almost two year old] twin daughters since birth. When the girls became ill with fevers and coughs in late March, we called the Southeastern Pediatrics nurse line and, after describing symptoms, were given a same day appointment to have them seen. Dr. Morris is always kind and friendly -- my girls LOVE her! A quick check and a flu swab and she confirmed that they did, indeed, have the flu. She prescribed Tamiflu. About 24 hours later, my girls were acting more like themselves.

    Dr. Brandt is very friendly and great with children. He is very patient with the children and the kids like to talk to him. Occasionally wait times are excessive but picking off prime appointment times help.

    We called his office one day, and he gave us appointment immediately.  We were in and out of the office in 45 minutes total.  He took the time to totally examine the baby because the baby was premature, and he took the time to talk to the parents about what to expect and what not to expect.  We would highly recommend him to anybody if they ask us if knew a pediatrician.  He was nice and polite.  He has a nurse line that goes directly to his nurse, so if we have a problem we can go directly to his nurse and talk to her.  Even if he does not have an appointment appearing open, but if we talk to his nurse and if something that really needs to be taken care of, she will work it around somehow to help us see the doctor; it is really great.  My kids say he is awesome.  I would use him again in the future if necessary.

    She sees a different doctor every time she goes. It is a good clinic, and we don't have any trouble, but I don't like that they rotate the physicians so you never know who you will see. When I call and talk to the nurses, they are good.

    Dr Brandt is a good doctor, and so are some of the nurses that work there, but his office staff is rude at best. It is very difficult to get an appointment to see Dr Brandt, either the lady who does appointments decides not to show up for work, (of course no one else will bother to help you). Or when she does show up, they can't (more accurately, won't) reschedule an appointment sooner than a month or two. When you do get in there the staff is rude, and you don't get seen anywhere close to on time, usually at least 45 minutes late. I let my wife deal with the doctor's office as I tend to return rudeness in kind. My son had an appointment on his birthday. We were going out of town for his birthday and cancelled the appointment with 2 weeks notice and the soonest appointment they would give us was over a month later. My wife had to work on the date of the appointment March 12. She told me the appointment was at noon, I thought that was around lunch time so I asked her to confirm it a few days before. She called and the staff confirmed that his appointment was at 12:00 pm. I took him there at about 11:45 am for his appointment. As soon as I walked in the door with my son the lady behind the counter snapped at me in a very rude tone of voice asking what I wanted. I told her I was there for my child's appointment at noon. She snapped in a rude tone of voice no you're not we don't have appointments at noon. I told her my child's name and that my appointment was scheduled over a month prior. She looked it up and told me it was at 4:30 pm and I would have to come back. I asked to speak with her office manager, she claimed she was the office manager. I asked to speak with her supervisor, she told me she don't have a supervisor. I asked to speak with Dr Brandt, she just said no you need to come back. I asked for my child's medical records as I will find another pediatrician with a staff that will treat their customers with some kind of respect. She refused to let me have or see my child's records. I told her that our lawyer will get them for us if she wants to act that way. I told her that I see why her staff is rated so low on healthgrades.com and it goes back to her incompetence as a manager. I started to walk out and she followed me yelling, and she was scaring my child. I told her to get away from me and slammed the door in her face. I will not tolerate this rudeness. I have recommended Dr Brandt's office to many people I know, I have called them all and withdrawn that reccomendation, and explained why. I will find another doctor and let Dr Brandt's office give me the slightest problem with obtaining my child's records and I will file a formal complaint with Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, and file civil action faster than you can shake a stick.
