The facility was very lean, quiet, andthe room was of adequate size for comfort..  all buttons were answered in a reasonable amount of time.

They took good care of him. They were quick to get him back; they even made my two year old animal balloons. He kept popping them and they kept making them. I do not dislike anything. They were quick and got us in and out really fast. They even referred me to pharmacy 2 doors down. They are just a quarter of a mile from my house.

We like the doctors at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. The doctors make the hospital. Most of them are very good. We like the care we got there. They seem to be pretty much on top of everything. They are available and punctual. The staff is friendly. By choice, we would go back to Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

    Dothan Primary Medicine
The reason why we initially chose Dothan Primary Medicine is because we had relatives who have been patients there.  We just moved into the area so we went over there.  We will continue to use them in the future.

I liked the outcome.  I'm ready to start losing weight.  I was out of work for a week and a half.  I still have a little pain.  They get high ratings and I would use them again.

I had cut my leg quite badly during Christmas Eve last year. I just took the last bandage off yesterday. My overall experience was fine. I wasn’t there for too long, got my leg stitched up and then got back home. I would recommend it highly.

The waiting period there was less.  They took the condition of the patient into account.  They were very quick and professional.  They got us in right away.  We did not have to sit there for hours.

It was an extremely long waiting period. They took me in but I didn't get treated for a couple hours. It was super busy and there was only one doctor; it's a small hospital. Other than that, they were very professional and the nurses were very kind and helpful. If I needed to, I would use them again.

I don't like the emergency room. It doesn't look very clean to me. Some of the staff is friendly but some are not. They don't seem that eager to be helpful. My mom was very hungry and we asked several times about it. The nurse gave us the pat answer about having to wait until the doctor said it was okay to eat. The doctor was sitting right next to her. I looked at the doctor for help and the doctor answered. I still take my mom there but it's always a trial. Once you get her up on the ward, they are wonderful. They were very sweet to my mom. I stay with my mom and I'm not demanding and I do a lot of stuff but they seem to have some nice nurses. Having said that, they have their policies and they don't always make sense. For example, my mom is 82 and she doesn't walk very well. She gets confused when she goes to a hospital and she regresses physically, even if it's for a day or two. They want to release her without giving her physical therapy; she can't walk and she can't go to the bathroom by herself. When I tell them they need to get her up and walk her, they say they don't have the staff for that. Physical therapy isn't as available as I think it should be for elderly patients. One of the nurses told me how mean my mom was. My mom was drugged up and she had bad vertigo; she thought she was falling. She wasn't being mean; she was being difficult because she thought she was falling. It's difficult to get any information out of the staff.
