Sorrells funeral home is now called sorrells not patterson sorrells.  You will not find a better funeral home in enterprise. Mr. Sorrells and his wife are very kind and helpful in anyway. They care more than anybody I have every come across in this business. They are down to earth grew up hard. Their care is for real not just because they are trying to put up a front to just get your money. When you see Mr. Sorrells around and about the town he will go out of his way to speak to you. He is for real not just putting on a show to get your business or money. These kind of people are hard to come by. He will work with you in anyway according to your budget. I am so so so glad he decided to come to Enterprise Alabama. We are truly blessed to have him in this town. On a scale 1-10 I would rate Sorrells Funeral home a 10.

Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home & Crematory LLC
A dear friend, Johnnie Louise Knight died this weekend and Sunset Memorial in Midland City was in charge of vivitation and funeral. This is a small amount of money but it is the poor customer service provided by Ben Earnest that prompted me to write this review.  I was unable to attend the visitation or funeral. I sent flowers from Schads Florist in Dothan. Schad's has record of the delivery, but the flowers were not @ the funeral. There were 2 other funerals @ Sunset that day. The lady @ Sunset, who I spoke to before Ben Earnest told me that. Then,  Ben Earnest told me afterwards there was one funeral there Monday, and that is a lie. Its interesting to note that Sunset Memorial is the only funeral home in the area that does not have florists sign when flowers/plants are delivered. When I asked Mr. Earnest about that, he said they do not and would not do that, I asked that the funeral home send the family a plant or flowers, and he said there was nothing he would do about it. At a time when compassion and understanding are needed, Ben Earnest provided none of this.

We called this center about enrolling my 19 month old daughter and was told by the director when to come. When we got there, she acted as though we were interrupting her busy day and did not smile at me or even acknowledge my husband who was holding our daughter (he is hispanic, I am pretty sure that had something to do with her nasty attitude.) She did not acknowledge my daughter except to ask how old she was. All of the children were outside when she showed us the classroom, so we let our daughter down. She walked over to the toys and reached for one. Then Brandy (director) said,"Now that's gonna be a problem for her- they are only allowed to play with those at a certian time." VERY RUDELY, which translated to me in other words "get your kid, I don't want her touching those toys." Instead of focusing on making the transition to daycare easier for my daughter, she was already calling her a "problem." Any questions I asked were answered very curtly and she didn't dare elaborate on anything. We were not offered to tour the facility or outdoor play areas- the classroom was all she thought we were worthy of seeing. Her attitude made it clear that she felt we were not good enough for her upper crust child care center. NEVER ONCE did she attempt to interact with my child or husband, and only spoke to me when forced to answer a question I asked. I have never in my life felt so discriminated against. She made it clear from the time she saw us that we were not welcome there. I left in shock and took my child to Kiddie Care, and immediately felt welcomed by director Keisha. They are less expensive and have better hours (even Saturdays!) After telling others about the horrible experience, I have learned that she is less than willing to accomidate those who do not fit her "standards" (or ideal skin tone.) I am so glad Brandy at Trinity was such a rude, seemingly racist SNOB. First impressions are everything, and if that elitist attitude is what they teach the kids, I don't want my child there in the first place.
