    GENTLE TOUCH AUTO WASH
    Called several detailing businesses and they were the only one to answer the phone. Took van in during the morning hours. Picked it up around 4 PM. It looked very good. There were a few places in the seats and carpet that didn't get clean but they explained why. The wheels were cleaned but there were some brake dust still on the wheels in the front. Overall, it looked better that when I brought it in.

    GENTLE TOUCH AUTO WASH
    Horrible. My four year old could do a better job, The armor-all was smeared on the windows, there was still dust on the dash board and the mirrors weren't even cleaned.

    Clearwater Car Wash Quick Lube & Detailing
    Recently moved to the area and looked for a full service car wash. Found Clearwater Car Wash over on Brackett Avenue and thought I would give them a try. The first time I purchased the premium package called the Great Lakes for $37.95... pretty pricey but our SUV was very dirty from our 1200 mile trip. When the attendant notified us that it was ready, the exterior still had bugs, it was not completely toweled off, wheels were still slightly dirty, and the floors mats were wet. If I am paying almost $40 bucks for a car wash, it better be pristine. I figured they might be having an off day, so I gave them another chance. I went back with my truck a few days later. Got the Ocean package this time, not as pricey but still almost $25. I was notified by the attendant that my truck was ready, when I went out to get my truck I noticed the wheels were still wet and dirty, exterior of the vehicle was wet, door jams wet... again I was not impressed. The next time I visited, I needed my son's front seats cleaned. The detail shop staff consisted of 2 guys that really made me wonder how well trained these "professionals" were. I watched as they shampooed my seats. They basically sprayed on the solution and sucked it off. No scrubbing and minimal effort went into this. They called me out after about 20 minutes to look at their work. I pointed out that the back of the seats were not touched. They spent another 10 minutes cleaning the back of each seat. Another $40 for another sub par job. The final straw was when I went to get my truck washed after a weekend road trip. I purchased the Ocean package and hoped for better results. I drove into the back of the wash and almost got hit by the attendant pulling vehicles inside in the lane next to me. He was in such a hurry he did not look to see me pulling in next to him. He did not apologize and just gave me a dirty look. I waited for my truck until finished, walked out and looked around my truck. Again wet wheels, wet body panels, wet floor mats... same old garbage. The soap that they use at the back end must be very harsh because it seems to cause streaks all over my nice red paint. I pointed out to the attendant that my vehicle was still wet and he did nothing. I picked up a rag, wiped my own vehicle down while they were too busy folding rags. One of them was the same yay-hoo that shampooed my seats. I have previously managed a PDQ full service car wash, have worked for numerous dealerships as detail manager, and owned my own detail business for many years. If my employees acted in such a way they would be out of a job. CUSTOMER SERVICE and SATISFACTION!!! Also with all of the times I have been to this place, I have yet to see a single individual acting or identifiable as a manager doing any front end quality checks prior to handing the vehicle off to a customer. This is why this location has so many problems... no management happening and no checks on quality. Employees do what they want with no supervision. I will never go back to this place... I hope the owner reads this review and makes some changes.
