    They contacted us immediately to set up services. While here they sprayed for additional ant issue around the home and inside the kitchen area. Also, they return if needed - and they respond quickly to calls. After an initial visit and a return visit to a call, the ant issue was resolved. Also, they do extra things to help deter bugs around the outside of the home. I have been very happy with their service!

    They actually came out 4 times. They assessed the situation, came back and blocked entry points. We had to call them back to go through the process a second time to block additioonal entry points. Those squirrels & mice were determined to reach our crawl space.

    I purchased my home August 2014, and at closing was made aware that a termite inspection had been completed by Kirkland's. Around May 7th 2015, a technician showed up at my door and explained that he was here to do an inspection. My wife asked him to come back as she was not aware that we had requested the service. I contacted the company and was informed that the home had a termite bond, and that they were scheduled to reinspect every May. I did not request or pay for the bond; the previous owner had. To understand the bond, I asked for a copy of the bond and that once I reviewed it, I would consider maintaining the bond. Christy  told me it would be emailed and that she would put "contact first" on my account. I did not receive the bond until I called back to complain that the technician had been to my home and left a notice that an inspection had been completed for $125. It was during this phone call that I finally received a copy of the bond. I was not contacted before the technician came to inspect, and I had not agreed to maintain the bond. When I spoke with a supervisor, I was told that they have too many accounts to contact new owners and discuss if they would like to maintain a bond. So, overall, my experience with Kirkland's is to know that they assume they have customers(bond of previous owner); they cannot control their technicians (showed up even after I called); and they will not honor the request of potential customers (put me on contact first). Needless to say, I no longer have the bond.

    When Jared, the man who did our inspection, saw my review on Angie's List, he  replied on Angie's List and also called to say that their services were guaranteed.  

    So I set up another appointment with him and he and David came to reinspect for possible entry points for mice.  They were both at the house for over 2 hours--inspecting every possible entry point and making sure it was sealed.

    I was so impressed with the professionalism of these two, that I purchased the one-year contract.  Today, (1/26/15), David came and did a thorough dusting for insects, swept away all cobwebs, etc., and sprayed to control them.

    My house is two story and the sweep that clears away the cobwebs couldn't quite reach the upper parts of the home.  David said he would like to come back with a longer sweep to make sure all the areas with spiders are eliminated.

    I have high confidence in their ability to control unwanted critters and I have deeply appreciated the extra effort.  I would highly recommend this company.

    After the initial treatment, the problem in the garage was much better. After 2 days, I called Jared and told him I was still seeing a few in the garage, but not to the extent before treatment. He came out that day and did another thorough treatment on the garage. After that I was confident that the problem had been solved. They still came out for the follow up the next week and sprayed one more time.
    I cannot be any happier. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Jared insured me he would not leave me with fleas and he didn't. I would highly recommend Tried and True and will use them again!

    Before I called Cook's, my new home had major issues with spiders and ants. After Cook's performed the initial treatment and several monthly maintenance treatments, problems have been substantially reduced. I do wish I wasn't required to have an annual contract, but the service has been effective.

    We have used them for about 5 years. They come out quarterly for termite control. They do what they say they will do. We have not had termites, but they have extra wells around, and they keep a check on it. We have called them a few times for other things, and they have come out, and done those even thought they are not on their contract. One time we had spiders, and we had to spray around for that, so they have done a good job, and they are reliable. I think the pricing is fair.

    They were very prompt and responsive. They have always been professional, good and reasonable. I think it is covered in the monthly and they are reasonable. I changed from another company that had unreasonable prices to this one that is reasonable.

    Terminix - Madison -Termite & Pest Control
    During the first appointment, the service rep came within the time frame specified, spayed the inside of the house and then checked the outside problems, even crawling under the house.  My hopes were high that my problems would be solved but when the service rep talked to me, he said that he believed there were chipmunks about the house and that Terminix doesn't cover chipmunks.  He did say that they covered mice and rats but when asked, what really was the difference, he just said that they don't cover chipmunks.  He did agree to put some rat traps down under the house and then said to wait two weeks and call to have somebody come out to check the traps.  I asked can't you just go ahead and schedule that now while you are here.  He said that he couldn't, I had to call the national 800 number to schedule an appointment.  He left and I called and scheduled an appointment.  Frustrating process that he couldn't do it either on the spot or just after leaving.
    Two weeks go by and my next appointment arrives.  The service rep shows up, checks the traps, and tells none of them were disturbed.  I asked why that would be and the best answer that I got was that with the warmer weather, the chipmunks were probably staying outside now.  
    This became a useless battle with the chipmunks and I didn't see any signs of further activity, so I let it slide with Terminix.
    A weeks ago, I get a call saying that my quarterly inspection and treatment was scheduled and that I needed to be home between 9AM and Noon so that they could have access to the inside of the house to treat it.  I sat home well past noon with nobody coming to the door.  Late in the day, I get an email from Terminix saying that the work order had been completed, with just an explanation that an outside inspection was completed.  I checked around the house and found a plastic Terminix bag hanging from my front door with paper in it reconfirming what the email said.  If somebody came to the house, which I'm sure they did, they obviously were very sneaky about as nobody rang the door bell, knocked, nor did I see or hear anybody outside.  I sat a good part of the day, missing work, for nothing.
