After a Movie Shoot at my house, Zero Productions and myself representing them paid them $11,000 for a floor refinishing pack out and pack back in. An estimate on the job was requested and the estimate was paid in advance with assurances that only actual time would be charged. They were paid to move a piano and did not have the correct tools for the job ending up using a steel hammer on the piano legs and a furniture dolly instead of a piano dolly which they did not have. Damages to the piano Leg and another Vase were not addressed even after they noted them as being damaged. They were paid to restore all items to their exact previous location but failed to take enough pictures in order to accomplish that task. They were paid to remove all the boxes when finished, instead all the boxes and trash was left in my garage and I ended up having to throw it away after they committed to come back and get them and failed to do so. They also overcharged the number of hours by about 20% at $240 an hour, which totaled around $2000. A Refund check was requested to issue back to Zero Productions that paid for it and it was refused by the owner (Colby) followed by fabricated time sheets to justify the refusal. The Executive Producer and I were shocked that Colby was willing to risk his business reputation by overcharging.

The moving guys called me ahead of time to let me know when they would arrive. The person in the office quoted four guys at 8 hours based on the size of my home. They guys showed up and went right to work. Wrapping all of the furniture and loading it in the truck. The movers were Joey Walker, Payton G, Jessie, and Maurice and they worked quickly and efficiently. They were efficient and courteous, and I was very happy with their service. They were able to complete my move in 6 hours.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Huntsville
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. This move, from an old house to a new, was nothing short of a disaster. The movers themselves, i.e. the guys that actually did the heavy lifting, did a great job even though they were badly underserved by their management's poor planning. Like most movers, this company uses software that estimates various requirements for a particular move based upon information it's given by the company's "estimators." There are certain parameters that the software doesn't factor in or estimate well (for instance, heavy or large fragile items that can't be stacked--gym equipment is a good example) thus a human estimator is required to make allowances for certain things and override the software's recommendations at times. THIS is where Two Men and A Truck failed miserably. Their estimator came to our home, and gave an estimate on how many trucks and men we would need for two days of moving an entire household, and seemed quite certain of his accuracy--that we would need two trucks for at least one day, possibly two--then, inexplicably, when the software recommended fewer men and trucks, went with the software's decision rather than overriding it. This had disastrous consequences for our move. Not only did it badly underestimate our requirements, the movers were forced to work well past their scheduled time in fairly miserable conditions on both days, AND we were forced to rent a Uhaul for several days after that and move many items ourselves, which resulted in multiple cascading complications with work, contractors, installs, and on and on and significant needless expense. Their serious oversight resulted in a workload for us that was far more exhausting and frustrating than any move should be. I did hear from their management after this, explaining the factors that influenced the software to underestimate our equipment requirements. What was not explained was why the estimator(s) did not go with what was glaringly obvious to everyone else (including the senior manager), and why they allowed the software to override their opinion. Never again.

    Changing Spaces Moving Inc
They were prompt, courteous, and kind throughout then entire 16 hours they were with us. There was never an unkind word, lack of smile, lack of acknowledgement. There was always respect and smiling faces. The men worked continuously - minus the required breaks which were the minimal required. This was the best experience. They made our move pleasant.

    Hall Brothers Moving Inc
Incredible group of guys.  They were professional yet friendly, helpful, and caring of our belongings and of us.  They worked incredibly hard and were very respectful of our stuff, very careful with delicate pieces, wrapped everything that needed wrapping with moving blankets, worked very well together and got it done quickly and painlessly.  On bringing our things into our new house, they made extra efforts to place them in the right room to avoid us having to move it later.  Several times, I would tell them "oh, that's ok, just put it here" and they would kindly let me know that they really didn't mind putting it upstairs.  They even changed around a bedroom when we saw that things weren't going to fit the way we had originally configured it and they did that with kindness and eagerness to do it right.  A couple of dishes broke because of our poor choice in boxes and they showed us that they had broken.  Very honest and forthcoming.  I would ask them to help us again before I would call anyone else.

Motivated Movers of Huntsville & Decatur
Had to move most of the furniture out of the house to tear out and replace all the hardwood flooring due to a water leak.
Nick, Jesse, and Taylor arrived on time, were very professional, polite and extremely efficient.  They packed up, loaded, moved and unloaded into a storage unit our kitchen, breakfast room, living room, dining room and office in 4.5 hours.
Additionally they had to disassemble a table and entertainment center to get it out of the house as well as take some doors off the refrigerator to get it into the garage.
There were no issues what so ever.  Everything went flawlessly.
Very impressed with this crew and how quickly and efficiently they worked.
Will be hiring them again to move back into the house when the floors are done.

    Gees Affordable Moving Service
Gees Affirdable Moving Service is superior to Two Men and A Truck. Gees come into your home and wraps EVERYTHING with quilts and tapes the quilts before moving it onto the truck. I mean EVERYTHING! NOTHING gets broken. Everything is handled with tenderness. The movers are more experienced and older than the typical moving service. They are more economical than 2MT and other services and extremely friendly, responsible and definitely professional. I give them an A+++. Respectfully, Dr. Dan Cheatham, www.devotional.net

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Huntsville
Terrible, like a nightmare.  Yes they "fixed" damage, but I now have filled new floors, filled new baseboard and walls.  Furniture was repaired mostly.  Refrigerator we received credit for.  If I wanted my belongs abused I would of hired the neighborhood kids for a lot less.  There is nothing this company can do to ever earn our business again.  We used them twice in the past and they were top notch.  Brought in one box at a time.  Unloading 120 boxes at that rate is crazy.

Just read the owners response.  Just plain crazy.  They did not have the top of my bookcase fall, they dropped it on three other pieces of the unit, which by the way are antiques.  They put a hole in the wall, took out a chunk of my new 3/4 inch hardwood,  and took out a large piece of the baseboard.  They also damaged the refrigerator, a cherry sofa table.  After we settled with them we found they also broke our antique bed and our 50" flat screen TV.  As for not paying before damage was fixed, what CRAZY person would pay a bill when the damage was more than the bill.  We just wanted this company to go away.  NEVER use them.  HORRIBLE experience and we had to PAY for someone to come in and redo the floor and baseboard.  The companies "fix" was to putty the floor and baseboard.  What a joke.  This was a nightmare from the start.  Workers seemed VERY lost and disorganized, I had to tell them how to wrap and move things.  Not enough workers for the job and they were tired and in a hurry to leave.  I had just told the worker not to lift the cabinet by himself because of the weight, left the room and then the bomb went off.  Owner failed to mention all the damage to the other pieces and the extent of the damage to the DROPPED piece.  I cannot believe they got a service award, shows what faith we have in Angies List.

    PODS Moving and Storage
They were very professional. They were very much on time. They were very flexible when we needed to change the details of our drop off and pick up dates. We decided to go with them as it was less expensive than the inter-state movers. We had 2 of their trucks and they took them when they were supposed to and they got here when they were supposed to. We were able to empty one of them out into a local storage facility; we just had to give them a 24 hour notice which worked out to be less expensive. When they brought the pods in we wanted it in our driveway as far as possible so that the car can still move in and out of the garage, they were able to do that without a problem. When they brought the 2nd pod, their flat bed had to move into the yard and they were very careful to keep it from tearing our yard apart and it did not. They put down plywood for the wheel, so they were very careful.

Great! They were prompt, took great care in wrapping each piece before removing it from house, and in unwrapping and setting up in new house. They went above and beyond what was required, rearranging at my request, going to Lowe's to get a new cord for my dryer, putting new line on ice maker, etc. They were very nice, professional. I cannot recommend them more highly.
