    Buckner Chiropractic Center
After locating Buckner on Angie's List, I called to ask about appointments, any specials for new patients, etc.  I was told there were none and I continued to make the appointment providing my insurance information. At the appointment, I stated that I would prefer NOT to have Xrays done for multiple reasons (exposure and the fact I have not met my deductible being a few) and was told they were necessary. I aquiesced, never realizing that they were charging over $300!   The process: check in at front desk, taken through clinic and introduced to various staff members and shown the rooms -- all of them are clean and look professional but the 'therapy' rooms lack privacy (it works for them but not for me.  I prefer to have a curtain or a private room when in compromising positions).  After the tour, I was taken to a room to meet Dr. Buckner and we went through my medical history and my expectations (a simply, minor adjustment-- no xrays needed IMO).  He said I'd need to go to Xray, then Therapy, then adjustment, then PT, and then schedule for next visit where he'd outline a treatment plan and cost for me.  I naively went along with it b/c I assumed (wrongfully) that worst case scenario, the cost would be around $125 for the first time visit after my insurance adjustments for what they allow.
Upon leaving, over 2 hours after I walked in-- (I thought at most the appointment would take an hour and fifteen minutes)-- I was told the charges were over $300 and asked what method of payment I'd like to use.  I questioned whether that was after my insurance adjustments and was told that they didn't know what I was talking about so I explained that typically, in my experience, the chiropractor bills the insurance company and then they are told what they can charge and what is/isn't covered and then they send me a bill.  I was told that I was responsible for paying at least half before I could leave the office.  I did.   I then went home.
Looking through Groupons the next day, I realized 2 things: 1) Buckner Chiropractic lied to me when they said they had no current specials running for new clients b/c they have a $39 Groupon that includes not only everything I had done but also a 60 minute massage and 2) I had purchased that Groupon already but in the chaos of moving and getting settled, didn't remember.  I called Buckner this AM to request that they honor it based on the fact I had asked about new patient specials prior to booking my appointment and was told  that they didn't have to do that, period.  I was also hung up when I questioned the integrity of doing business in such a way.   I cancelled my follow-up appointment for this week and have requested the xrays from their office.

    Briggs Chiropractic Clinic LLC
Have been seeing Dr. Briggs for my ongoing neck problems. After a thorough exam and xrays he has been doing adjustments - so far so good. I was very hesitant to see a chiropractor but he is extremely personable and knows his stuff.

    Clark, Dr. Brian T.
I found him after trying many other chiropractors. He was finally able to diagnose my lower back problem (SI joint out of line) and corrected the issue. I have to go back every so often when things get out of line, and he makes it right every time.

    Faulds, Dr. Ben
Dr. Faulds is a chiropractor that also does acupuncture. I go to him for balance. He puts theses rods on my head and acupuncture and it makes me have better balance. Why, I don't know.
