    Marathon Painting
The first time they did it was fairly sloppy but for the price I did not complain that much. A few months later, the painting on the patio and the front porch started bubbling up and peeling off. I took my time in calling them back because I was involved in taking care of my sick mother, when I called back they don't want to take responsibility at first then they agreed to come back and repaint the porch and the patio. They came back and painted and I gave them a much better review but now several years later, the paint has blistered and peeled off again. I called them about a year ago to let them know and they did not want to come out and fix it. So I was surprised that they have a very good rating with Angie's List and I'm thinking how in the world they got it. Am I the only customer that has problems? If they are willing to come out and do the job, I would use them again but if not, I wouldn't use them again.

    DC Lawn & Landscape,LLC
We were extremely pleased with the service from D.C. Lawn and would highly recommend them again. The owner first met us to understand our goals and budget. He then followed up with Autocad drawings of the proposed work and pictures of our property with the recommended work installed (images added to pictures of our property). This helped us visualize the suggested work. He then worked with us to ensure the plants and work was within our POA rules. During the work he kept us apprised of the progress and sent pictures at the end of the work. Neighbours who talked to his crew said they were very professional and friendly. Just after the trees and plants were installed there was a cold freeze and he had his crew cover the plants to protect them.

    Premier Painting and Carpentry
After deck built and siding half done it was looking nice paid $$3500 plus material but later deck was not built to code per city of Gulf Shores see cities findings below but not done. I had to have the deck pulled apart and redone spending $4000 more plus material costs for someone else to do it right. As far as the new door to deck, he just nailed the frame into the opening and did not set the door in correctly. He did not finish the pergola on the deck and as far as the bathrooms. This man gutted the bathrooms after paying $5200 upfront to cover materials and half of down payment, he kept making excuses he would be back to finish that he had other jobs with a rental company in Gulf Shores to take care of then I never heard from him again. It's been over a month now. I sent text messages but no reply. BEWARE!!!! Do not hire this man! He does terrible work! If you do hire him, GET A CONTRACT!

    CertaPro Painters of Washington DC
Rob Bartsch, sales consultant, covered all details with us to be sure both of us were on same page as to what we wanted.
Scheduler, Richard, was in touch within few days to set an approximate time.  Had lots of rain around that time, so they were a little behind on jobs.  Got to us within 3 weeks, which was fine.
Rodney was supervisor on job and he was here when scheduled with helper.  They got 1/3 done first day, cleaned up all and was back next day with extra help.  Job was completed in 3 days.  We had them come back after couple days to do little touch-up and they were prompt and did all we asked.
Very professional workers and beautiful job that we are proud to show off.
Worth the cost of job. Would highly recommend this group to anyone needing such job done.

    West Coastal Painting
I have used West Coastal painting for several paint jobs including the outside of my vacation home.  The quality of his work is excellent and his prices very reasonable.  I would highly recommend him.

    Steve Jones Contractor
Contractor prepared a sketch of the work to be done, used it to get the permit and to get the HOA approval. Work began on time, good materials were used, and completed promptly. Contractor is a very good communicator and manager of resources. Very pleased with the work.

    Jack of All Trades

First, the positive. If you have a small project (hang a TV on a wall) this service provider may be ok. But be sure your project can be finished in one day and BEWARE the comments below.

Big Negatives: Seven months after starting the project Mr. Parker walked off the job, unfinished. I had to hire other painters to finish the work and to re-do some of the work because of the horrible quality. See photo of paint job on front door below. It bubbled and peeled. Mr. Parker saw the bubbled paint every time he showed up to work for weeks and weeks, and never corrected it. Just walked off the job.

I had to spend hundreds of dollars to have the paint removed and a new paintjob put on the door.

Mr. Parker is very unprofessional. He will walk inside your home, without warning or invitation, {when his work for that day is outdoors).

READ THIS: Perhaps most disturbing is the fact that Mr. Parker found an old tag for our dog, with our old address on it. He used GOOGLE Maps or GOOGLE Earth to look up the old address and reviewed an aerial view of the property (and street view) and then asked us questions about the property! This is both unprofessional and creepy. Reading a dog's old tag, and looking up the prior residence. Seriously?

Also be advised that Mr. Parker considers one or more large condominium complexes to be his bread and butter, so if they call with a bunch of TVs to hang or light fixtures or fans to replace he will do that work preferentially to whatever you may have hired him to do. As far as I know, Mr. Parker does not have an electrical license, so I wonder if a commercial (for rent) condominium complex manager should be hiring Mr. Parker to do electrical work. Seems to me if there was ever an electrical shock or fire, the condominium manager would have big legal problems for using a person without an electrical license to do the work. This assumes Mr. Parker does not have an electrical license, which I believe to be true.

Mr. Parker made no effort to make the work right, he did not finish the job, and the last draw he took on the job was partially for materials, but he returned the materials and kept the cash (as he walked off the job).

By next week the other painters I have hired to finish the job and correct the shoddy work, will be done. At that point I will know the extent of my damages. I will be seeking those damages from Mr. Parker.

I am also aware that Mr. Parker likes to respond to negative posts about him on Angie's List (one of the many things he liked to and quot;chatand quot; about when he should have been working). I will be more than happy to respond to any such retort from Mr. Parker.

In a nutshell: Not recommended, unless you want a TV hung on the wall and then be very careful.

    Eye Do Windows-AAA Pressure Cleaning
They were professional and prompt.  Good communication. Deck looked almost new and was no longer slippery.  All work was completed and done well.  Price was much cheaper than another company that we had called.  Would hire again and would recommend to others.

I was immediately told that they were "covered up with work right now". Taken aback, I asked if I should just call someone else and was told "probably so". I gladly did just that.

    UnderPressure Power Washing LLC
Co-worker refered me to this company. He stated that he had used him in the past and That I couldnt go wrong. He was right!
I put in the call and within the day, I got a return call. Love it when I dont have to wait.  I had friends coming into town and needed the work done fast.  Mr Adams was there the next day to give me a estimate. He explained to me in detail the amount of time it would take. Also how the job would be done so that it would cause no stress to me and my family.

Not once did I have to worry about the job not being done on time. The price was reasonable and affordable.
I will not hesitate to use them again in the future!
