AFrontpointThe homeowner installs the sensors and control panel themselves. The install is easy and the instructions are clear. The Frontpoint staff is super attentive and quick to address any issues you may have. Our control panel had an electronic defect and a replacement was sent via overnight post. A Frontpoint representative walked us through the setup once the package was installed and activating the system was easy and completed in 15 - 30 minutes. The system itself works as advertised. It offers complete security and safety coverage for all your needs. We even purchased a compatible thermostat ($80 on Amazon.com) and now we are able to monitor/control our thermostat remotely. We interact with the system via smartphone app, but it you can arm/disarm from the panel or with the supplied keychain control. Overall: A great value for the money. You're essentially getting $800-$900 of equipment for $199, plus you get a $100 gift card and other perks. You are locked into a contract, but the system is portable if you move during the 3 years. Be sure to take advantage of their referral program. Documented referrals get you and the referee a free month of service (for each one).- Jason W.

FShortly after we ordered the system we changed our mind. The company said they would refund the money but never did. We disputed the charge but was denied from the credit card company even though SimpliSafe could not produce an invoice or any price they sent the system to us. This company is untrustworthy and does not deserve your business. Please save your time and money and use someone else. Just an update. They did return the money they originally refused to refund when we went through the credit card company. I can’t change the grade I have them because the only reason they issued the refund was to protect their standing on Angie’s list.
