The technician comes out once every other month, but if you need them to come out before then, they will and there is more extra charge. My technician Josh is AMAZING! AA Plus Pest ControlTechnician arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. Inspected my attic for possible rodent infestation and determined it was not mice or rats, but either a squirrel or raccoon. I was given a referral for wildlife removal, but the creature has not returned. I was not even charged for the attic inspection. Overall I’ve been pleased with the service and the employees are very nice and respectful. Usually Jeff does my yard and he’s just very easy to talk to and really wants to do a good job. DGuy showed up. He had no ladder to get into my attic, so I supplied one. He wandered around inside and out and then told me they would have to use metal flashing throughout to seal up any place mice could enter...at a cost of close to $4,000. He offered no written estimate (despite the supposed precision of the estimate which was down to the penny.) He seemed to think there was a gap between the roof and the top plate of the walls all the way around of 3 to 4 inches. He said that was the way they built houses back when our house was built. I guess he thought I was stupid and didn't know anything about construction. He was wrong.

AAnt control, Bat control, Bug & Insect control, Mosquito control, Rat control, Spider control -- these folks do it all and they do it excellently well. They go above and beyond, sweeping away webs under the eaves and coping gracefully with my neighbor's yappy dogs. When squirrels began gnawing on my fascia, they made certain to let me know before the damage became severe. When I had bats in my belfry, they gently chased away the creatures and hardened my house so that the bats would not return. When I asked for a bond in addition to termite protection, they supplied. When my house proved to be more prone to bug infestations than expected (two creeks border my property), they were flexible enough to adjust to my particular needs. When I texted a picture of a particularly large and unfamilliar bug that surprised me in my shower, they came immediately. During a particularly heavy rain, I turned on the porch light to see beady little eyes staring back at me from atop a storage chest; Scout put out rat control measures the next day. And every person working for Scout Pest Control shows the same professionalism, the same dedication to and quality of service. I can't say enough good about these folks. I'm so very grateful that I found them so quickly after moving to Alabama; if I had not, the critters would have run me out long ago! With Scout, I don't have to worry about any kind of pest--I know Scout can handle it!

BThis company is indeed still in business. Almost 5 weeks after contacting the owner through his email, and writing the previous F rated review, we found a voice mail he left yesterday responding to that email, offering to do our annual inspection as he has for the past 6 years. Unfortunately, with the very unusual long delay in replying to our several contact attempts, we assumed the worst and decided to go with another company. I changed the rating to a B simply because his early work was good. If you want to hire Tried & True, just use the phone number. Our work/hours make answering and/or responding to phone calls problematic so we use the methods mentioned before to schedule service as we have every year. Never had a problem before. Fortunately, our new company responds well to all the ways they enable customers to contact them, email, text, and especially through Angie's List (in one minute! That's got to be a speed record!) Thank you, Angie's List, for providing that service. It's an odd way to spend our holiday funds, to have the treatment again, but it's worth it to keep our little place healthy. All the best to Tried & True. Perhaps disabling the lines of communication that you no longer support, specifically your email and Angie's List messaging, would help avoid misunderstandings in the future.

AI did research to find the most qualified inspector in the area and between his certifications, Angies' List, I chose Bill. When I called his assistant told me he was available the next morning! Scheduled the home inspection for 8:30 AM but since there were early storms rolling in he had completed the inspection before I arrived. He is extremely thorough and professional, and is a former president of the National Society of Home Inspectors. His inspection was detailed, with many pictures, and found issues that saved me from thousands of dollars in repairs. Bill noticed a structural issue with the house which the seller disputed. I had to hire a structural engineer to resolve the issue and he agreed with Bill. A load bearing beam had been removed from the house and it was structurally unsafe and I have no idea how much it would have cost me to have it resolved and then repainted to be ready to sell. Ultimately, the deal on the house did not go through due to damage that occurred after the contract was signed and I hired Bill again when my wife and I chose a new home. He is worth every penny and realtors rarely recommend him to clients because he is so thorough.

AExcellent. They came out right away, were prompt, and worked into the night, in the cold and snow, so I could have water that day, even though I was prepared to wait. They thoroughly checked everything inside as well and took care of some other problems that were caused by debris that had settled in the pipes and the old holding tank. I am an elderly widow in rural Tennessee where it is hard to get anyone to come out to do anything, and Lee Company was a Godsend. They told me I was "their only customer right now." I did not realize their company was equipped to do so much. I will use them again.
