    Zamora Tree Service LLC
Mr. Zamora and his crew went above and beyond to help me. Mr. Zamora was very knowledgeable, pleasant and he and his crew did excellent work. One of my neighbors hired him for a job as a result of the work he did at my house. I would recommend Zamora Tree Service to anyone requiring his service. We plan to use him again for some additional work and landscaping services as well.

    S M THORNTON LANDSCAPES

I had an excellent experience with them. I have not used them yet. He has been out a couple of times and we have communicated back and forth.  We are talking about landscaping, but I have not quite decided if I can afford all of it right now. Everything about him was awesome. He did not charge me anything for the estimate. He offered to do soil testing and everything with no charge. He was going to charge $500 to draw up a master plan and that would have been fine, but when we got to talking about what I needed he said he really didn't think he would need to do that and he would have applied that to the job. Putting the sprinkler system in is my biggest hang up right now. I don't know if I want that. He was going to install a sprinkler system and new sod. I have not had anything to compare the price to. I have no reason not to think it was a fair price, but I have not had any other estimates for the same work. It is more than I am willing to spend right now, but he would be more than willing to work any phases and things. What I liked was everything about his personality. He was very prompt, very responsive to contact and seemed to really understand what I was looking for . He was not pushy, like a salesman pushing things. I liked the fact that he took soil samples and had it tested without charging me anything. He may come back yet and add it to the charge, but he did not say anything about it when he brought the scheme back out.

    Hand Landscaping Co
I received three estimates for this work and they were the cheapest, but that wasn't just why I hired them.  They were very thorough when they came out to give me the estimate and spent the time to talk to me to make sure I understood the work they would be doing.  They were able to use spare resources they had available that helped keep my costs down.
As for the work, they were here when they said they would be and they did exactly what they said they would.  There were no surprises!!  They were in and out in two days, so they worked efficiently.
The only negative was that it took some phone tag to get in touch with them, but my understanding was that their office manager had a family emergency that had them temporarily out of sync with contacting folks, etc.
Overall, it was a good experience.

. The person spent about 30 minutes walking the yard with me.  He then spent another 15 minutes getting measurements and taking notes.  He promised a quote by the end of the week and told me that he didn't hear anything that would cost too much.  I received an email with vague descriptions as to what was going to be performed with a quoted price of 25k+.  I don't know if I'm just much poorer than the rest of their clientele but 25K is expensive.  I guess some people are ready to drop that amount of cash on 30 minutes of conversation and no details but not this guy.  I will never reach out to this company again.

    Trimm Landscapes and Designs
Our yard has several large trees and Trimm planted emerald zoysia where grass could grow and a variety of scrubs that bloom different times of the year . For example knockout roses, oakleaf hydrangea, French hydrangea, drift ropse, George tabor azalea, and camellia sasanqua. Trimm Landscapes did a good job.

Excellent! They called on the day when they wanted to come, performed their work quietly and thoroughly, left feedback sheets with lawn analysis info and suggestions of how to treat our lawn so it stays healthy and grows beautifully. They are very friendly and highly responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommended business!

    A 360 Repair
I pre-paid for 4 hours of handyman work on livingsocial. I called the business 8 times over the course of two months during "business" hours, and not once did a person answer the phone. I left 4 messages with my complete information asking for a return call to schedule my appointment, and gave the business owner Josh Anderson (per website) days between messages to return my calls. I have never received a phone call, and my "deal" has expired.
So, living social refunded my money (their service person couldn't contact him either).  I was going to let it go, but now I see them up on Living Social offering another deal.  Buyer beware.

    Running Roots Lawn Care
Garrick was excellent.  He was extremely quick to reply to my request for service and I was able to schedule him to come out for 4 hours of work, plus removal of debris.  He worked alone and got done with my initial request much quicker than I thought he would, so he continued to do some leaf removal and I am in a very wooded area with huge mature trees.  I've never seen my lawn so clean.  He is a graduate of Samford University and looking to expand his self-employment business.  I will definitely have him back-- so professional, such good work-- very nice man.

    Mighty Green Lawn Care
I changed service providers to see if there was a difference, I still don't know. They offered to do the service at a certain price that was better. We'll see at the end of the year if it's better work.

    Economy Stump Removal
We had a stump from a Bradford pear tree that we recently cut down due to damage the extensive roots were causing to our lawn. After calling 2 tree cutting businesses and not being able to get anyone to come out for just the one stump ( even though one was local) I ran across Economy Stump Removal on Angie's List and saw he was also local and only did stumps. I was disappointed that there was only one review but it was excellent and recent so I gave Mr Howell a call. When I mentioned that I found him on Angie's list he wasn't even aware he was on it. I also learned that he had previously done the stump work for the other local tree cutting business that had a lot of positive reviews. He is now retired and doing stumps on his own when he is free. So it turned out that many of the numerous excellent reviews for the other business were actually of his work! When I told him on the phone that it was a Bradford pear he quickly said that the roots on a Bradford are the main problem and that it wouldn't help unless the roots were ground also. He offered to come right then to look at it. I was expecting it to cost a lot more to do the roots also but his estimate was very reasonable. He came back the next morning at the exact time he said he would. He did a very good job and ground the roots in probably a 6-8 ft perimeter around the stump. He said the wood chips would not have to be removed since they were mixed with so much dirt....just to remove the large pieces, spread the rest and that grass would grow in that medium. When I began spreading it I realized there were some areas that were fairly free of dirt so I was able to rake up a few Cubic feet of wood chip mulch to use in other areas. There were more larger pieces than I expected so we have some good kindling now also:-) Mr. Howell was extremely nice and friendly. I would recommend him without any reservations and will definitely use him if I need any more stumps ground.
