  • Joe and crew did work on my vintage 17 year old car. He and his crew did a very nice job on my car. There was a small unavoidable delay in having my car ready on time and Joe treated me to a free detail. Also, he and the crew did some "extras" on the car, such as repainting bumpers. That was not something I had requested and there was now charge for the "bonus." Very pleased and would use them again.

  • Nichole was very professional and honest. She was very informative about the whole transport process and the length of time that it would take to get my vehicle picked up and delivered. Prior to finding Nichole on Angie's list I'd encountered other dishonest companies looking to take advantage of people who didn't understand the business of transport. Not Nichole! Even when I grew impatient and on edge she reassured me that she was working diligently to find a driver for me. Just when I thought that all hope was lost my angel Nichole informed that pick up was scheduled for the next business day. I was super elated! To my surprise the vehicle was actually picked up on that very day and I got the vehicle sooner than expected. The driver was a very nice man. I would definitely use Nichole's services again should the need for transport services arise. You don't find many honest and professional people like her in the transport industry. She is a keeper!   • I have been using their service since 1992. I have bought at least a dozen cars from them. I have never had a problem.The customer service is great and the service is great. The owner Abe Cannon is wonderful to do business with. They are very accommodating and will send a wrecker if they need to in order to take care of me. They have never overcharged me.

  • They worked with me on getting my car in for work, even letting use one of their loaners. They carefully explained what needed to be done and had my car ready when they said they would.

    However they keep finding problems with my car. I do not know if it is preventative or necessary. Having no one to discuss this with I never sure if I really need these repairs immediately. Since the costs are so much, I would like to feel more comfortable that I am not spending unnecessary money. That said, when I have said I could not afford a repair at that time, they are understanding and assure that it can be delayed a short time.

    These mechanics were recommended to me and my overall experience has been good.

  • I had a car window smashed by debris on the interstate.  I called Cassidy Glass while sitting terrified on the side of the road. They were very reassuring and stayed on the phone while I got to a safe place to park my car. They were very kind and helpful, worked with my insurance company and had me back on the road in no time!  Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend using Cassidy Glass.

  • Over the course of a year, my power locks had been failing, so I finally took it into the dealer to get it repaired. Fortunately I had purchased an extended warranty, so I only paid a deductible of $100.00; otherwise, it would have cost me an arm and a leg. It was a long process, due mainly to the warranty company, but I was provided a rental loaded with features. I was pleased with the overall experience with only one exception: they failed to put the front passenger side door back together properly. The plastic molding does lock into place like it should.

  • Had initial visit to repair crack on windshield. Was told would need to replace it. Technician gave me a number to call at Safelite to reschedule and setup insurance claim.

    Safelite rescheduled and took care of insurance claim. Technician came to the garage at my office and replaced the windshield. He gave me clear instructions on his procedures and what not to do after installation such as gently shutting the car doors for the next 24 hours and not going through a car wash for several days. They also changed the windshield wipers.

    It was raining heavily when I left for work the next morning and I saw no leaks.

    So far, I have been very pleased with their work.

  • They have been very good, they have treated me fair, and helped me when I needed tires. They are very nice and considerate. They told me where to buy them on line, and had them sent to their business, and the next day they put them on my car for $42.00.

  • Rex was very upfront with me and very professional. As a company, they are very honest. I had a credit on my account because I used them before, and because they ended up not using a part they ordered for me, they gave me credit! Some other companies would have just pocketed the money.

  • BUYERS BEWARE: Do not purchase a used car, from Moore Nissan, in Bessemer, unless you bring a lawyer and a notary public.
     
    I bought a used car from Moore Nissan and was promised in writing, and without me asking, things would be replaced IF I bought the car (replace the battery because it was dead and replace the headlights because they held water when it rained). The battery was not replaced with a new battery. They installed an old, weak battery that had to be replaced a few weeks later. When it died, Moore refused to swap the one they installed, claiming it was "not under warranty."

    The FIRST TIME I brought the car in, to have the headlights replaced, instead of replacing the headlights they tried to fix the rain leakage with poor applications of red putty smeared over the top. When that didn?t work they piled on clear sealant and made a complete mess. The used car manager said, "If this doesn't fix the problem then we'll see about replacing the lights". It didn't fix the problem and the manager would not talk to me afterwards.

    Next, when I purchased the car, there were factory rail covers on the engine. When I checked the oil, the morning I delivered it to Moore Nissan, the rail covers were there. When I picked the car up from Moore Nissan, the rail covers had disappeared. No one knew where they had disappeared to. None of the managers would talk to me about it. I can't prove that someone from Moore Nissan stole them but it's very suspicious.

    Later, I noticed a sizable dent in the right front fender, that wasn't there before. Probably caused during the headlight, or rail cover incident. Once again, no one would respond about this.

    While we were in the neighborhood, my girlfriend took it upon herself to attempt to have a civil conversation with the used car manager. While discussing the problems, I stepped away for a moment. While I was gone, the manager took the opportunity to attempt to bully her. He became dismissive, rude, and even cursed her. Moore Nissan claims they have "a strict privacy policy?, yet the used car manager had no problem broadcasting every misrepresented detail about my transaction to her (or anyone else within earshot). Such as "F*ck that ! We ain't fixin' sh*t !" As I was returning, the manager was heard calling me every disparaging name he could think of and even hinted to her about physical violence by barking at her, "Somebody needs to go on before they get their @$$ kicked." Of which I took as a threat against my girlfriend and it took all of my girl's strenghth to keep me from returning the favor.

    Moore Nissan could have offered an AS IS warranty, but didn?t. If a sales-person promised something they shouldn?t have, Moore could have come to me and tried to work something out, but didn?t. I sent a registered letter to the owner explaining the situation and asked him to, AT LEAST, apologize to my girlfriend for his manager's intolerable behavior, but instead, recieved a phone call from an employee telling me Mr. Moore refused to do anything. It's bad enough the dealer re-negged on a written contract; possibly stole customer property; vandalized customer property; but to stoop to bully and THREATEN a woman because she dared ask a few questions, is unforgivable.

    I wrote Nissan of USA about their dishonorable dealership and they stated, ?We have no control over what Nissan dealers do, or say?. BUT then added, "Had you bought a NEW car from the dealership, we could do something about the situation." With that statement, I would not trust Moore Nissan, nor Nissan, USA, to sit the right way on a toilet seat. Much less give an honest sale or quality service. I will NEVER purchase a Nissan and encourage you avoid them like the plague. Since then, people have told me of the many problems they have had with Moore Nissan, from bait and switch pricing, to failing to replenish the oil after an oil change, to the overall high maintence and low quality of Nissan cars. I wish I'd have known all of this before I purchased my car from them.
