    Harrell Appliance Repair
The guy showed up and vacuumed the coils saying that's all that was wrong with our refrigerator and we should a day or two to make sure it was fixed, then send him a check. We called the next day to say it was still not working and he said he'd try to get out that afternoon. We never heard from him again! After a couple days, we hired another company who came right out and replaced the fan and added Freon. Our refrigerator is now working properly again thanks to the second guy. I would not recommend Harrell's since he not only didn't know what was wrong with our refrigerator, but didn't bother to show up again as promised. The only positive note is that we had not paid him anything.

When he got there he went through all of the usual checks and recognized there was something going on but not positive. He left and went back to his shop and came back the next morning and entered some codes and fixed it. My dryer had arrived with Canadian power settings vs. U.S., there is no telling how many people I would have had to call before they figured it out. We have used him since for the refrigerator and he now does all family members.

    Sears Appliance Repair
First call was cone on the same day we called. I was charged $120 on 1st repair call. Was told nothing wrong, just a circulation problem. Ran less than half a day. When i called for "reservice" I was scheduled for service call 10 days later. This was moved up some but we were notified that serviceman would be there at 10:15. After 1:00 pm he called and said he was on the way. This call he replaced the controller and charged $98 for the part. Said that if that wan't it, the part charge would be refunded. Again ran only half a day. Called again and was told they were really sorry but it would be 10 more days before the serviceman could return. When he did, we asked for a refund on the part (he said it would take 8 days to clear) and asked him to leave. I was out $120, 21 day without a refrigerator and a worthless "guarantee". I asked about a refund and they did they don't do that. Well, They don't repair appliances either. Please refer this to the Sears people.

    Affordable Appliance Repair (TLC Ministries)
He does amazing work. I called him Monday morning and let him know that my dryer wasn't working. I work very weird hours, but he was still able to get to me the very next day in the evening. He didn't charge me extra for coming in the evening and he had it fixed in about 10 minutes. It was nice that Ron was so flexible with my schedule. I would recommend anyone to him. He has the best prices and does the best work. He definitely goes above and beyond the call of duty. TLC says it all.

    Allen's Appliance Repair
Called this morning and explained the problem. He came this afternoon. He had the correct part in the truck, so the repair only took about fifteen minutes. He was polite and professional, and I am very pleased with the service.

    Allen's Appliance Repair
Called for Dishwasher leak repair. He called back within 30 minutes from leaving message, making a 1:00 pm appt. for the same day. About 10:30 he called and said he'd finished a previous repair and asked if he could come early. Upon arriving he found 2 holes burned through the tub. He ran to the auto repair store and found some epoxy, used it to repair the holes, and charged only $65.00 total. Great service!

    Allen's Appliance Repair
The guy charged me $45 for the service call. The appliance was not repairable so I bought a new refrigerator. I didn't know if it was something that was repairable or not. He told me that he could repair and put a new compressor on, but the compressor would cost $400 to $500. He said that he wouldn't recommend doing that. I was very pleased with him. It was a good experience. I called and he was here within an hour. He was very responsive. His professionalism was great. Overall, he was excellent. His price was excellent too. I would use him again in the future if need be.

    Allen's Appliance Repair
In this cast we only needed a simple service. It seems there is a special feature built into the washer that catches anything left in pockets when the trousers make it into the washing machine. I did not know about this nor the flashing LEDs that signal you that the water is not draining. Allen showed me the special trap area and it will be an easy fix should this happen again. I liked his forthrightness and candid explanation.

Serviceman arrived early and checked Dryer. Found bad Gas body coils. Gave me my choice, to save money, I could buy and replace items myself or he would provide the parts and replace. I have worked on Gas Dryers before, but decided to have him provide the parts and replace. He said he was sorry but he did not have the parts on his truck as he was coming from another job. He went back to the office and picked up the parts. The price of parts and cost to install were very fair. To me the trip charge was a bit high. I would use this firm again.
