    The gentleman that helped us said he would look at the watch and call the next day.  He said he would only charge us if it was fixable and told us how much it would be.  He did call the next day and had been able to fix it.  The price charged was as he had said (which was very reasonable) and we were happy he had been able to fix it.  Recommend this business!

    Suffice it to say, in the interest of brevity that initially, my experience overall was horrendously bad on every single level -- beyond just about anything I've ever experienced from a business as a customer. I found out later, though, that the source of the bulk of that was the assistant manager at the time, and she was only there for about 4 months & was asked to leave. Further, for brevity, let me say that the manager there is a good person who will work with you if you give him a chance. He certainly went beyond what he had to for me. And then I bought another product. Admittedly, I had to go through corporate (Kroger first, which owns Fred Myers, of which Littman is a subsidiary. I never talked to the manager because he was on vacation at the time and felt he should call have called me. Retrospectively, I doubt that rude, crude, lewd asst. manager told him about what happened. So how could he reach out to me? When I did deal with him, I had a wonderful experience and I don't think it was just because of my having contacted someone above his region. They knew clearly he did not even know about my situation. I also arrived early to watch how he interacted with other customers to gauge is he was going to 'step it up' for me. That turned out not to be the case. He, in fact, had a fairly upset customer come in (totally a weirdo), requested him by name, the manager, and he handled it so professionally. Clearly, he is adroitly gifted to handle 'deescalation.' (And the guy -- the customer -- was being rude & somewhat unreasonable). So, KUDOS to the current manager, who took care of me in as equally a classy way. His attitude actually inspired me to have a more positive day than I would have after I left. SO, how about that? Having said that, however, I do recommend if you choose to do business with them, being that turnover is high in retail (but this manager has been there a long time), that you request the manager -- his name currently is Mitch. Deal only with him.

    I was very aggravated and unimpressed. They said they couldn?t do that. They did not give me options. They said if they heated the crystals they would crack. They did not give me alternatives. When I went in there were about 4 employees they were talking and they wouldn?t acknowledge me. They did not say I will help you or I will be there in a moment or anything at all until I practically went in front of them. The jeweler looked at it and said in 2 or 3 sentences that he couldn?t do it. That was it. I walked out of there. My bother-in-law who is a jeweler said they could have glued it or done a hole in it and glued it in. It wasn?t an expensive activity so they didn?t bother. I also asked them to appraise my mother?s other ring. They said it would cost $50 which I felt was a little high. They didn?t exhibit a very professional manner.

    HOBBS JEWELERS
    I was told that the battery replacement would take a couple days.   After nearly a week went by I called and was told that two of the three were replaced but he was having trouble with the Seiko watch.  Hobbs is an authorized Seiko dealer and supposedly knows how to change a battery in them.   I told the clerk when turning in the watches that the Seiko was a 5 year battery and the watch was computerized so that the battery had to be replaced quickly so that memory/programming wasn't lost.   Several days after picking up the first two watches, I received a call that they couldn't get the Seiko to run and that it probably needed a good cleaning.   I returned to retrieve my watch which now does not run at all.   The watch was in perfect condition and had no problems at all when I dropped it off.  Clearly, the programming was lost due to a faulty battery replacement procedure by Mr. Hobbs.   I will now have to send the watch back to Seiko for re-programming and additional expense.   I will not use Hobbs Jewelery for any reason in the future.

    SABGHI'S JEWELERS
    I carried my necklace to Sabghi's Jewelers  to have the link that holds the clasp to the necklace repaired. The necklace had a diamond pendant on it that would not come off  because the clasp was too large, so I had to leave the pendant with the necklace so when the clasp link was repaired the pendant would be on the necklace.  When I returned to pick up my necklace,  the Kamran put the necklace around my neck, knowing that if he handed me the necklace, I would probably look at  it closer and realize that he had changed necklaces. I had taken it to Sabghi's, because he had been introduced to me by a friend who is now deceased. In fact he had put the diamonds on the pendant for me with some diamonds my deceased sister had given me. (Now I am wondering if the diamonds on the pendent are really mine.) Several days after I had gotten the necklace back, I noticed that it was hanging lower than it had before. Upon further inspection I realized that the necklace was not the rope link necklace I had left with him. It was a much thinner chain, 10K instead of 14K, and the pendant would come off over the clasp, where as the pendant would not come off over the clasp on the necklace I left with him originally. When I realized that the necklace was not mine, I called the owner and told him he had given me the wrong necklace. He told me to bring it in. When I took it in he told me that it was My necklace. I was so upset I told Kamran that I did not want that necklace, because it is not mine, and I left it at the store. When at the store I had told him that my necklace was shorter, had a larger clasp, and was a thicker rope necklace, than the one he had replaced it with. I called the police to see if they could  do any thing about getting her necklace back. They told me it was a civil matter and that it would be better if I had the necklace that he had given me if I take him to court. So when I went back by to get the necklace, he gave me a second  necklace, more similar to mine, but it is damaged and is a 10K chain instead of the 14K chain I had originally left there. The last necklace he has given me, the pendant will go on the necklace over the clasp, but the original necklace that I had left with him, the pendant would not go on the necklace over the clasp. I have pictures of the necklace on me and the clasp on my necklace is different than the one on the last necklace he gave me. Kamran has told me each time he gives me a different necklace that this one is mine and that both necklaces that he gave me are the same necklace, when they where two different lengths. I have had the necklace for many years and wore it daily and I just want Karman to give me  , "MY" necklace back. I will never use Sabghi Jewelry again.
