    Technician arrived on schedule. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. To do so, he replaced a key part that he had on hand but not with him. He left to get the new part and returned promptly. I especially appreciated his cleaning up water from melted ice on refrigerator coils. He was courteous and professional. It is a relief to know that Preachers Plumbing & Electric exists. I will definitely call this company to repair other appliances.

    fMiller & Humphrey arrived on time & started work immediately.  They removed the old unit and proceeded to put in the new one.
    We were so happy because for the last 2-3 years, at the hottest part of the summer, the unit would freeze up & not cool at all.
    The men finished & went on to the 2nd work order; fixing our very loose electric outlets..  They repaired those, and were finished.
    Very personable & friendly men!    We were super pleased  with their work.

    They arrived on time with 2 people. They had ordered the plug, circuit breaker and wiring that was specified by the information that I had given them. The plug installation went well but running the wire through the house conduit was more than they had bargained for. No fault on their part but due to the way the wiring was handled in building the house. I'm sure it took twice as long as they had figured. When they were done they checked the circuit and cleaned all their mess up. They stuck to their estimate price even though it was more of a job. I've never had a problem. It cost me about 30% more than if I'd bought the supplies and done it myself; assuming that I hadn't electrocuted myself in the process. Even though they weren't the least expensive option I feel sure that I came out better in the long run. I'd give them an A+ rating and am about to use them again for an external generator connection. Great people to deal with.

    The original owners used the Goolsby to make repairs found during the home inspection. When we started to have problems with the pool which was one of the jobs that the company originally work on, we call Goolsby because we thought that they guaranteed their work. The company came out on August 10th to check on the problem in which they informed us that it wasn't their work but the electrical wire to the pool was shot. It would need to be replaced and it required digging up the yard. We had the option to dig it up ourselves and have the company come back in early next week to replace the electrical wire which was about 105 feet long. My husband opt to dig it up and save the cost. We got an estimate about 150 without coping which we thought was reasonable and told the gentleman that came out that we would be in contact on Monday to set up a time for Tuesday. On Monday, I called the office to set up a time for the tech to come back out. I called on Tuesday to verify the time of 2pm but I received a call stating that he would be back out at 1pm instead. About 1:25 the gentleman came out with another tech. They started to work right away but I stopped them to get another estimate done to add the coping because the wire was not put in deep enough and wanted to go with the coping option which was more expensive. The gentleman gave me an estimate of $250 which I agreed on because I explained that was the top of our budget. That's all we had to fix the problem. They got right to work on the problem and within an hour they were down. That's when I got the true bills of $350. I was appalled. I had no choice but to write another check. The gentleman made no excuse on the $100 increase and stated that at least he didn't charge us for the first time he came out which should of been another $85 dollars and made it seem like he was doing us a favor. At first the techs were very nice and friendly but after they started work, they said nothing. My husband was late coming home and I had to deal with them at first. When he returned home, I figured the the techs would at least talk to him about what was going on. He tried but they just kept working and didn't interact with him at all except to get paid. Make sure you get everything in writing. I would never do work with them again. I couldn't believe they charged me for 2 hours of work when they were here for an hour. Yes there was two techs here but they should of mentioned that before charging me. Not impressed.

    They were initially going to install a new fan and found out that all that was needed was a switch.  They did a good job and I've used them before, but they're pricing is pretty high in my opinion.

    I had them come out previously for an estimate. Their estimate was better than most of the other quotes I got. When they came out for the work, the guy talked my husband through it. He said to call him if we had any questions. The customer service was really great. They were really friendly. The amount that we were charged was more than fair.

    Disconnected the old hot water heater and hooked up a Rinnai tankless. They had to hook up the 110 power and disconnect the 220 power. They also had to drain the old hot water heater disconnect the water lines and install new ones to the Rinnai.

    They were on time, professional, and work was completed without a hitch!

    Pricing --this is plumbing and electric folks you get what you pay for. I have used them before and will use them again.
