    Family Practice
Great. Dr. Sanchez was the first doctor to spend time listening to me. He offered emotional support and promised me that he wouldn't give up until I was completely evaluated and any problems resolved. He has real concern for his patients because this is his calling. When I didn't have enough money to pay for regular counseling, he told the counselor to see me every week at no charge. The recent events that caused him to lose his license are not based on fact and I have first hand knowledge that he was a doctor that followed the rules and he did what was best for his patients. I fear I will never find a doctor of his caliber.

    Graves, Dr. Eric W.
They indicated they would receive new patients, but the first question asked - and quot; How old are you and your husband?and quot; Then she said and quot;We do not accept any new patients over the age of 55.and quot; I told her that we had BCBS of Alabama as our primary insurance and we are not under Medicare, as we are too young for that. She said and quot;I'm sorry...you are over the age of 55.and quot; I did not see this restriction on their website, but now I understand why you have to call first to be accepted as a new patient. That is the first time we have been turned away because of age. It was shocking and disappointing.

    Zimbelman, Dr. Travis J.
Everything went well and I have recovered from the surgery. When I need a foot doctor in the future I will go straight to see Dr. Troy Zimbelman. And I have already recommended him to my friends.

    Mathis, Dr. Jeffrey W.
The Dr. is nice and seemed to listen to my questions and concerns. Very thorough with the exam. My only problem is the office itself. Very regimented and systematic. Most of the staff were nice and friendly, but it just felt like I was just a number. They seem to be very busy all the time, and I suppose it needs to be systematic to be able to get everyone through. But... It could be better.

    Veres, Dr. Mark S.
Dr. Mark Veres is an excellent doctor. He is very professional and behaves in a friendly manner with his patients. His office staff is as nice as they can be. We would absolutely use Dr. Veres in the future.

    Hindi, Dr. Kim
Be kind. Expect a bit of a smart a** attitude. If he ses that you like a joke or play on words he will help you enjoy your dr's appointment. His office staff is amazing, but if you have a bad attitude (beyond just being sick) you will probably not enjoy interacting with them.

    Mathis, Dr. Jeffrey W.
He is in with a group. He is just super. He listens to me and he is not very aggressive and he does not prescribe any antibiotics or any kind of bills when it does not need to be prescribed. I have never had a problem with him. He is real good and very caring.

    Garnett, Dr. Tommy W.
I was made to feel very comfortable during the procedure. The medical assistant explained everything that would take place and I was at ease. Dr. Garnett did a great job at fixing my toe and I'm healing very well. I would definitely recommend him to others and will go again if needed.

    Allen Dupre MD
He is a good doctor. His bedside manner is fantastic. I have a very long relationship with him. He knows me and he knows how I am. He gives me in-depth attention. He does a good job. He does take more time than a lot of other doctors instead of in and out within five minutes. He takes as much time as he needs. He stood me up some because he had to deliver babies but I can't hold that against him. When he was delivering my second one he stood somebody else up. I will continue to use him in the future.

    UPMC Presbyterian/Shadyside
The surgery went extremely well. They were able to get all the cancerous tissue--which was widely spread around my abdomen. They removed several key pieces of my abdomenal cavity! The hospital care during my recovery was, in a word, superb. The first 3-4 days were extremely critical--but I never felt like that. The nursing staff was very attentive and amazingly expert in their jobs; they made all the tactical decisions based on physician strategies that were revised every morning during rounds, and clearly communicated to the nursing staff. In addition, the nurses maintained excellent bedside manner, even when I'm sure I required much care during the initial part of my stay. Pain management was off-the-charts perfect. Between a spinal block for the first 2-3 days, pain pump for the first week, 24/7 pain meds through the central line, and PRN meds whenever I needed them, I had very little pain from this very major surgery. Phenomal! I would unhesitatingly return to this hospital, even though it is about 1,500 miles away.
