    Mike's Auto Repair
He is a reasonable mechanic.  He is trustworthy.  He does what he says.  He does not do something that does not need to be done.  I have been using him for years and he is an efficient man.  He is very honest.  He does not charge something he does not do.

    Noblitt Auto Center
The car we have is a 2001 Acura. Until we moved here the car had been serviced by Acura dealers. Since there are no Acura dealers in Dothan, we asked for a recommendation from the Honda dealer. Noblitt's came highly recommended. They are very friendly and professional. Scheduling the car for service is only a phone call away. When the car is in for service, they do what is needed and if something is not needed, they will not try and sell us something that is not needed. Very honest.

First of all the part new cost around $800, and if you ever owned a MX-6 you understand my pain. They searched for a great used part for around $300, and programmed it to my vehicle for $65. They were helpful and extremely friendly, and found my problem in less than 4 hours. I was back on the road the next day. They even stayed open an hour later so I could come get my vehicle that day. I will definitely do business with this place again.

First of all the staff are more like salesmen than someone who works on cars. They try to sell you a laundry list of services that. "Supposedly" my vehicle needed, and even tried to say I needed new wiper blades when I changed them a week before. They used to use Valvoline oil filters, but now I get stuck with a cheap generic "Mighty Autoparts" brand, that I come to find out they own that too. They still use Valvoline oil, but at a whopping $45.00 for a basic oil change! They did not grease my fittings like they are supposed to even after I asked them to make sure it was done. American Lubefast uses Mobile One oil at a mere $30.00 with better service, and I didn't feel like I was being sold anything. The employees work off of commission when they sell recommended items, so they are more worried about getting you to buy un-needed items than actually servicing your car. I will have to say lesson learned.

    Arnold's Automotive
Very friendly and extremely reasonable. They were fast and stuck to their estimate, with no additional cost. I gave a B rating only because of the extreme lack of parking right off south oats street downtown.

    Southside Auto & Truck Repair
I knew I had a problem with my starter because I could sit there for 15 minutes in my driveway trunk to crank it and praying over it the whole time. I finally had to take it because I couldn't afford to break down and have it towed. I drove my car down there and waited in his office while his mechanics fixed my car. I've taken my car there about a half a dozen times and he's always taken care of me and anybody else who stops there. He's a good honest Christian man who treats people fairly. I wouldn't know what I would do without him. Quite a few hundred people in Dothan, AL, feel the same way! He's a man of his word and that counts down here on south Alabama. A man's word still stands for something in the south. I'm truly blessed to have Jim as my friend and his shop as my mechanics. God bless you, Jim Butterfield and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

They're the only people in town I'll take my car to. They diagnose the problem quickly. They get it fixed at work speed and you never have to go back to that problem again. Their prices are definitely market-based. It's not cheap but they never fail.

    Tuffy Automotive Service Center
Staff was customer-oriented and got to customers right away, were friendly and helpful. They Inspected my car right away without a wait and provided an estimate. They were unable to get the part until the following day, but kept me informed by phone as to what time the part would be there. I returned the following day and the part was installed. Military-connected people receive a 10% discount. I was impressed with their customer service, and cleanliness and comfort of the wait area. They also had ladies magazines - a plus.

My truck broke down on the circle in Dothan at 0600. I had to use the insurance
company provided towing service. I was away from the vehicle when the Southeast
Towing LLC towing service phoned, notifying me they were at my vehicle and that
they needed my keys to turn the wheels to load my truck on the flat bed. So I
had the dealer give me a ride to my vehicle. When I arrived on site, I handed
my keys to the tow truck driver, who glared at me so hard the salesman from the
dealer even made a remark. I then proceeded to park the vehicle I was in so I
could supervise the tow truck driver. GLAD I DID! The first thing the two truck
driver did was start my vehicle. WORST decision he could have made. My truck
had blown a water pump and still really hot. The driver, and the dispatcher,
NEVER mentioned he would start the vehicle to turn the wheels. Additionally,
the wheels were straight. The only reason the tow truck driver wanted to turn
them was so he could winch my truck onto his, at about a 45 degree angle. Had he
just pulled directly in front of my truck, there would have been no reason to
turn the wheels, and he would have never started my truck and blown every seal
and hose on my engine. Further, if I could start and drive my truck I WOULD NOT
    NEED A TOW TRUCK! His only response was, I had no idea... Of course he did not;
he had not even the common sense to ask before trying.
My truck was finally loaded by the tow truck driver backing his rig directly in
front of mine and winching my truck onto the bed (which is what he should have
done in the beginning. Worst experience with a towing company I have ever had.
I have reported this company to my insurance agent and recommended they never
use them again or they may have additional claims filed due to issues caused by
    the towing company.
