    Yolanda Perez Cleaning Services
This short story: This was a nightmare experience that cost me both in time and money. Yolandas team was extremely unprofessional and usually several hours late. I was promised a partial refund and still have not received it. For the full story, read on Oh boy. I hired Yolanda to do a deep clean of my mother's house before guests came for Thanksgiving. It's rather large (three floors, but they were cleaning only the lower two), and they came out to see the house and give an estimate. While they were there, we explained exactly what we wanted, and they saw the condition of the house. They offered what I considered a very fair price. So far, so good. The first hint that there were going to be problems was when they showed three weeks before the agreed date and left a note that they tried to get in to clean, but no one was home. When I contacted Yolanda and explained that the date was mistaken, she apologized and assured me they would come on the correct date, but asked me to text her the week of so that they wouldn't forget. The week they were supposed to come clean, I texted her as asked, and she responded that they would be at the house at 8:00am. I rearranged my schedule to be there, since my mom was not comfortable having strangers in her house alone. They finally arrived around 11:00am. I had anticipated a 2-3 hour job (I had gotten an estimate from another company for that time frame, plus I've cleaned that house several times, so I know how long it should take, even with a deep clean). SIX HOURS LATER, they still were not finished. This is not because the house needed six hours of cleaning, but because the workers dawdled, gossiped, and chatted on the phone for a large portion of the time. Four hours in, Yolanda herself showed up. I know enough Spanish to know that she was reprimanding the girls for taking so long on a job that should have been done in four hours. She stayed for about 20 minutes, then left. She never spoke to me to apologize for the delay or to explain how much longer they would be. Finally, they said they were finished sometime around 5:30. It was now dark, and I had lost an entire day babysitting cleaners. The next morning, when I could see things in the daylight, I noticed that there were several things that had not been cleaned that we specifically asked them to clean. The kitchen table had not been cleaned, as well as the end tables in the living room. The den had only been quickly vacuumed (in other rooms, furniture was moved in order to vacuum, but downstairs, they obviously just quickly vacuumed around things), and the TV table was still covered in dust. Also, there were still cobwebs in the corners of several rooms, and cleaning the doors was hit or miss. I texted Yolanda to let her know that I wasnt happy with the job that had been done, and she offered to have her workers come back out and fix it. We set a time for Monday morning. They didnt show. We rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Again, no workers. The last scheduling was for Wednesday morning at 8:00am, which was not ideal since several of my guests had already arrived Tuesday evening. Like before, 8:00am came and went. The girls finally appeared around 10:30. They brought in their cleaning supplies, and one of them spent the first ten minutes having an angry phone conversation with someone Im assuming was Yolanda. (Again, I know enough Spanish to understand that she was angry about cleaning because my nieces and nephews were in the house and had pulled out several toys, so the floor wasnt clear.) I tried to get the attention of the other girl to show her what needed to be done, but she was pointedly ignoring me until her coworker got off the phone. When the phone conversation ended, she informed me that they were only there to vacuum. In fact, she very rudely said that they had already vacuumed, but that since I wasnt happy, that she would do it again. I told her that was only one thing on the list of things that needed to be corrected, and that the majority of the work was upstairs. She refused to go upstairs or listen to me, telling me that if I wanted something other than vacuuming that I had to call Yolanda, and Yolanda would tell her. After going back and forth for a good ten minutes or so, I had finally had enough. I told them to leave and that I would ask Yolanda to send me a refund. One of the workers was apologetic, but the one on the phone was extremely huffy and very rude. I texted Yolanda about the situation, and immediately received a call from someone who said that they were Yolandas employee. I had spoken to Yolanda several times on the phone, and she was always very kind and polite, but this person was very rude and dismissive. I am not an impatient person, and it actually takes quite a bit to get me riled, but by this time I had reached my limit. After the employee told me that the house was very tedious and that it was a bigger job than they usually take on, I reminded her that Yolanda herself had come to inspect the house and give an estimate. They knew what they were getting into. This house was not a surprise. If they felt it was too much for them, they shouldnt have submitted a bid. I told her that I wanted a partial refund, and she hung up on me. Yolanda finally agreed to a partial refund that was supposed to be delivered this past Monday. I have yet to see the money. This was supposed to be something nice that I could do for my mother since she works extremely long hours, and I live in another state and cant be there to help out as I would like to. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. I and my mother were both extremely inconvenienced since we both rearranged our schedules several times only for the workers to not show. I was treated very rudely by several members of Yolandas staff. And now, I have overpaid for a mediocre job that wasnt even completed.

    Two Maids & A Mop

I ask the ladies to focus more on my bathroom / living quarters / kitchen as I am having 10 ladies from my Church this Thursday night and some had not been here and wanted this part of my home that they would mostly see shine a little more than the normal cleaning they do each month.  Very sweet girls -- they did as I requested and I appreciate that.

    Two Maids & A Mop
The first time that Two Maids & A Mop came, you look at it like you don't know them and they don't know you and they don't know what you want but they did extremely well. They found out where things were and took care of things and then the last group that came were very good and very thorough. The overall service went very well. They took care of their business and moved on to the next client. They were excellent, they have been punctual and extremely professional in their service, they are take care of your appointment times. I have used them for a couple of months only but I am really pleased with them so far. They seem to want to know what I think about things and about their work.
